ARCHIVED Cleaning To Remove Gluten/ice Cream
AlexJ72 posted a topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I have a favorite ice cream place and I recently spoke with the manager. He said their ice cream is all gluten free, however, they use the ice cream maker to make pastry cream which has flour in it. He said it is thoroughly cleaned before they make ice cream. Would you guys trust something like this? -

Hello- I recently had an appt with a GI doc. He was a nice guy, but he barely listened to anything I had to say and just recommended i take miralax to help with my constipation. The visit felt very rushed, but i guess that to be expected with an MD. Also he gave me a rectal exam and he was kinda forceful with his finger...my ass was sore for the rest...

ARCHIVED Could It Be My Gallbladder?
AlexJ72 replied to AlexJ72's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
I've been reading that gallbladder removal doubles your risk of colon cancer, and since there already is a risk of that with celiac it could turn into a very scary situation. Any comments on that? -
ARCHIVED Could It Be My Gallbladder?
AlexJ72 posted a topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Is there a connection between celiac and gallbladder problems? I had a slight abnormality in my liver functional test and for the past 2 months have been having some indigestion and a stiff/tight feeling on my right side where the GB is. Im going to go for an ultrasound, but I REALLY DONT want to have surgery, i feel like it will make my situation worse... -
