July '09 I was diagnosed with gluten/casein/soy intolerance. Ghee what a lifestyle CHANGE. I've been doing lots of research and continue to do so this day. One can never have too much knowledge.
In a nut shell, I've been a pretty active girl. Not scared of work. Enjoy the outdoors. Love physical activities. June '09 while attempting to help my husband clear out the fern from around the oak tree I realized, I had very little strength. I'd wake up in the morning and felt as tho I'd did 100 push ups, I was exhausted before begining my day..."somethings wrong" was my thoughts. Well test proved that I had all those food intolerances. Life is already full of challenges and this just added to them.
There are 3 main times I recall being glutened pretty bad, while eating a food I had no idea was not safe for me. First was lucky charms, I ate the whole box! within a week, yes I did. pigged out! That sent me down exhaustion road. Then I ate some chips and dip from a local resturant. Well, those corn chips had gluten in them. oh, and I ate quite a bit in one weeks time, yep...pigged out again! That sent me down exhaustion road again. This last time I was glutened real bad was when I pigged out (end of Dec.) on rice krispy treats, yes, ate the whole flippin box, almost. That sent me down this current road of exhaustion I'm on. The end of Feb. is when I noticed I was "begining" to feel a lil better. My main symptoms are constipation & fatigue.
I've always allowed myself a small amount of milk products, which doesn't seem to bother me. And the reason is, my dr. told me I may be able to one day consume them again...that was my ticket to eat some, I know, not a good decision. None the less, one I made. I don't watch my soy intake real close either. I do not notice immediate reaction/syptoms when ingesting them.
Somthing triggered me to start this and hopefully I'll keep it up.
