I just got diagnosed with Celiac disease 4 days ago and having a real hard time understanding that this actually happened. It still hasn't hit me yet. The hardest thing so far is seeing how nobody knows about it and doesn't think that it's a big deal. It's a huge deal! I feel like I'm not even the same person anymore. Hopefully after I "get used to it" (which sucks that I have to), I won't feel the same way. I just want something good in my life to happen where I can say "Wow, this never would have happened if I didn't have Celiac. Maybe a beautiful girl with Celiac that knows how to cook Any tips or hints or words of encouragement would be much appreciated! Thanks!

P.S. See.... I didn't even write about me! I wrote about the diseased me... Well, here goes (not like it seems at all important compared to what's going on in my new life). I am a Junior at Wright State University majoring in Biology and Spanish and studying to be a doctor, specifically, a bilingual pediatrician. I love playing volleyball, it is my passion to sing, and I can balance things on my chin.
