  1. White vinegar wouldn’t have gluten in it.
  2. I asked because there are a lot of people, pretending to be doctors, that tell people they have all sorts of things like fungus , parasites, and yeast , so they can get a lot of money from them.
  3. Interesting.,,. Maybe the damage they attributed to Celiac is not from Celiac but this mold? Something to look into once you get this problem fixed.
  4. Are you seeing a a medical doctor for this? If you are this badly " infected" with "mold" I can't believe you aren't in the hospital . It's really hard to get a fungus out of internal organs and usually, from my experience, you are in the hospital and very sick.
  5. I am sorry but I think your mom is making stuff up. Lol There is no scientific evidence thay any food but gluten is confused as gluten. Even the people who believe this theory don't list bananas and peanuts. I would suggest that you read a bit from reliable sources - not supplement companies trying to sell things or people who call themselves a...
  6. IF it is very high, then you probably have Celiac. But I don't know what test you actually had. If you are going to have a biopsy , you need to continue to eat some gluten every day .
  7. Are you eating or just "detoxing"?
  8. I would get with your doctor or doctors and find out what else is wrong with you. Not everything can be blamed on Celiac or gluten. This sounds serious.
  9. - if things are so bad at the house you live in....maybe get a job and a place to live? It sounds like the people you live with aren't supportive or even care. Having control over your life might really improve your mental and physical well being. People here are making suggestions based on the little we know from your posts. Please don't take...
  10. For me, I found that the effect of the coffee acid on my stomach kind of comes and goes. I might have a few days it just hurts! I use come creamer in it and that helps. I can do dairy, but I really like the So Delicious vanilla creamer. Maybe go a week or two and then try with creamer? Or mix it with chocolate almond milk?
  11. Coffee has a lot of acid in it. Could you be are having stomach issues with that? Coffee does not cause you to make Celiac antibodies that attack the intestines.
  12. They don't say that it is from wheat because, in the US, modified food starch is rarely wheat. If it is wheat - it will either say something like "modified wheat food starch" or at the end of ingredients will say "contains wheat". If its made from corn, they don't have to list "corn" and , of course, they aren't going to list wheat that isn't in the product...
  13. Your blood work looks like it's basically negative. A tiny bit positive on a ttg test could be nothing or even from something else. If you are going to get an endoscopy to check for Celiac, you need to continue eating gluten to help get accurate results.
  14. I am guessing the DH wasn't officially or correctly diagnosed. If the antibody levels are that high, I would think that Dh would be present. A lot of people, even doctors, just say that a rash is DH with Celiac. The thing that is concerning is how high the follow-up levels are! Sometimes they can be slightly elevated from other causes, but these...
  15. But what the researchers found was that, most all "refractory" patients who went on the Fassano diet, healed. It would definitely be worth a try.
  16. also Google "Indications and Use of the Gluten Contamination Elimination Diet for Patients with Non-Responsive Celiac Disease". Maybe this link will work www.mdpi.com/2072-6643/9/10/1129/pd
  17. I can't see that you are really as gluten-free as you might think you are. Those are very high. Before you go to Refractory, the doctor should recommend the Fasano elimination diet. That works for those with no response to a gluten-free diet.
  18. I am not sure if anything has changed from a few years ago..... but at that time, someone had to go to each topic and lock it. If I am rembering correctly. ?
  19. If someone bumps a thread up, you can answer them. I agree that it often gets confusing when people do that. People start responding to the older posts or get angry when the OP doesn't respond to them. I have had messages from people giving " helpful" replies to a very old post and they are angry that the OP doesn't respond. Often I will split the...
  20. That is not how the Celiac testing and Celiac antibodies work at all! There are no scientifically reliable tests for Non Celiac gluten sensitivity currently. I would suggest you look at some reliable sites to get info about Celiac disease. Here is one good site - http://www.cureceliacdisease.org/
  21. I hope that in the 6+ years since this person posted - the gluten and any other food, has worked its way thru the GI tract. Gluten, just like any other food, will leave the body in a few days - maybe a week if you are really constipated. It does not hide in the blood or the intestine. The antibodies, in Celiac disease, are another matter. Even...
  22. Almost no drugs actually contain gluten. There are studies and other info you can find. The possible side effects of not treating her strep are soooo much worse than the tiny chance that maybe some tiny ingredient was next to gluten. My high school son had strep for a few days before he said anything. He had to miss a week of lacrosse and gym because...
  23. SO the doctor told you you have this issue, what did they say is wrong? What did they say to do to help? It can be a very serious issue, so I can't imagine they just told you to figure it out yourself.
  24. I think most parents find that, after 6 months or so gluten-free, the kids start to griow and thrive.
  25. Fortunately, I think this was an obvious one. All of those ones you add the granola stuff to are never gluten-free. So I would never have even picked it up.
