  1. There are other reasons for those symptoms. It is possible to have Celiac and something else. Hopefully you are getting a colonoscopy, too? To check for something more than Celiac. It is also possible you are not as careful with your diet as you need to be? People with Celiac can't take a burger off a bun or eat food from a shared fryer. that type of...
  2. If you are getting this after eating a lot of cheese....maybe it's lactose intolerance?
  3. If you are doing the gluten-free diet for fun.... it doesn't sound like you are having fun....so stop. If you aren't serious about it, go back to eating gluten and get tested for Celiac first. Going on and off of gluten for just 10 days is not a gluten-free diet. You won't see any valid results like that.
  4. I looked at the us site. It now lists soy sauce and then the ingredients of soy sauce ....wheat is listed
  5. That's too bad! 4 years ago, when this read last had a comment, it was gluten-free.
  6. Corn has not been linked to causing Celiac damagethat I have seen. Corn does seem to be hard to digest for most people.
  7. I don't tell people - I am gluten free. I tell people I have Celiac Disease. I think the word disease is important here. I would hope that these teachers understand what Celiac is as your school will have several students with Celiac. If they continue to "shove" food at you knowing this, I would be worried for the students that expect a teacher to keep...
  8. I don't think there is one! It would be very scary if that were true and a lot of people would die or require surgery from peritonitis/sepsis.
  9. How high is the ttg? If it isn't only slightly elevated, it could be from something else? Anti-tissue transglutaminase (tTG-IgA) A screening test is commonly used when an individual is in a risk group for celiac disease, whether or not he or she has symptoms. The tTGIgA test is usually the one offered for celiac screening events, as it is...
  10. Sounds like they are made of stalks and starch - so likely gluten-free if you ate some. But this is not the toothbrushes sold Walmart! $11 for something you are supposed to throw away every month or two!
  11. That's a new one! I haven't heard of that. If that was a big concern, I think we would have some warnings from the Celiac Societies. As you go a along, you will find that there are people on the internet that like to cause trouble, are gullible and believe everything they read (no matter the source) or make stuff up to sell something. Try to look...
  12. I think the fact that this just started, after you have been gluten-free for 4 + months, is concerning. I would go to a doctor. It may have nothing to do with Celiac
  13. There will be lots of places to try. Snooze has several locations for breakfast. There is a gluten-free crepe place in Vail on the mail street. There is a great place called Vinny's in Frisco. I have been told there is a new Cider place in Longmont. IN golden, there is a gluten-free brewery. http://www.modernmarket.com/locations/boulder/menu MOd Market...
  14. Dairy is dairy. Goats milk has lactose, too. so if lactose intolerance is your issue, it won't make much difference
  15. Just Ft. C? There are other places like a Brazilian steak house and other places....I just didn't need to try them all and new places have popped up.
  16. Have you tried frozen rhubarb? It can be hard to find, but it is sold. My mom used to freeze rhubarb and make pie with it later
  17. Coffee enemas? Not safe or necessary. If you really have parasites in your skin, how would an enema even help?
  18. My boys were at CSU. Colorado is a great place. Just off the top of my head - Beau Jo's, Lark Burger, Blue Agave ? I think that's the name, Austins in Old Town, Snooze, Outback, Scrumpys Cider - they have expanded so I am not sure about food, but great cider. CSU has. gluten-free dining hall and had great gluten-free practices before they added that- my...
  19. They could be because of other problems. Maybe see an orthopedic doctor about the leg? my hub and I , as well as half of the KC area, are experiencing pressure behind the " face" from allergens in the air right now. The mold is especially bad here , but grass pollen was high last week.
  20. It is " but that" and I missed the space....
  21. Butthat is not the product they are talking about. Malted milk is called " malted Milk". It isn't trying to disguise itself as regular powdered milk.
  22. Probably just means that the lab isn't busy. Not many people scheduling elective procedures at the end of July.
  23. 9 years ago, when this question was first asked, restaurants didn't have as good a handle on gluten-free as many do now.
  24. I think I just used Carnation. Its just milk with vitamins. It may even say gluten-free on it?
