  1. I saw a study ( not really the right word) and posted it before. Someone looked at about 800 meds and only 11 had any verifiable gluten. I think gluten is a very low risk in most perscriptiom medications.
  2. Please don't let these non-medical " researchers" scare or confuse you. I doubt most of them have actually done any real medical research. Start with what you and your doctor know and go from there. I don't know if any one explained how you can have a negative biopsy but positive blood work? It really a simple explanation. You have approx 17-2...
  3. My point about dehydration causing joint pain, still holds. I guess you could see if you drank beer when you haven't been hot and sweaty and see if it effects you ? Beer usually has very little gluten, so I would look at the circumstances or other ingredients or the alcohol itself. But, when you come on asking questions like this, I am not sure what...
  4. Yes. some people make it with eggs. They are usually not cooked, so most people don't make it that way. YOu can find lots of recipes on the internet. Not sure what this has to do with Celiac? I am moving this to the recipe/cooking section
  5. I am trying to remember - you are just sort of gluten free? And don't have celiac? i think joint pain could be from dehydration. Beer isn't the best at rehydrating after sweating.
  6. I am not sure where you live. there are some gluten-free beers made more like regular beers. They are not available every where. Some you can mail order. The sorghum based gluten-free beers are the most widely available. They take a little getting used to as they are a bit sweet. Some gluten-free beers hat are not sorghum...
  7. Maybe....maybe not. I won't drink them. The main problem is the method used to test for gluten in the beer. I don't believe any of these beers are actually made with wheat. It isn't the barley in all beers and malt beverages, that is the gluten issue. A few beers also have wheat. Open Original Shared Link
  8. Quote worked!
  9. Ok .... who fed the forum gluten?
  10. I can't quote on any thread with my PC on chrome now. Seems ti be getting worse
  11. I guess you will not be eating much yeast bread as a little sugar helps it rise. If the amount of sugar in a bun you eat once in a while at a restaurant is a concern, I am sure you could ask how much it is? Or just eat your grilled chicken as a lettuce wrap? And I guess you won't be having the milkshake?
  12. I didn't put this on for those of you who never eat out or have not gotten your health under control. I put this on for the majority of everyday Celiacs, living their lives, and who eat at Chick Fil A and other places with a good gluten-free reputation. I realize that most of them are not posting on here, but some do read the new topic headlines to see...
  13. Open Original Shared Link "...The chicken chain on Monday rolled out a gluten-free bun nationwide. .."

  15. But....it was posted in the forum on Saturday...... that make sure it look current. It isn't someone bumping up a 2013 post by answering it. Maybe, if you are going to recycle old articles as new forum posts, you could put right at the top of the forum post something like - "previously posted dec 2013" " encore article lfrom Dec 2013"
  16. With the odd and misleading picture of Japanese? food, I thought it might be about another country.
  17. Great! Let people be able to read the old ones if they like. I just don't think we should put them on here like they are "new" news.
  18. No wait! I see....this I see from 2013! Why is this showing as a new and current article? We already have the law he was wanting to debate
  19. What country are you talking about? Maybe you should make that clear as many countries, including the US, already have a gluten-free labeling law.
  20. I am using Chrome on the iPad and couldn't use quote on Victoria's or Admins post
  21. I couldn't use the quote on this one either. Both of these are older topics. I tried to quote the current post. Maybe some of these old topics are messed up.
  22. seems to work here. didn't work on the cheese slice thread. And there have been a couple of other times in the last few d ays
  23. "Kraft singles have whey protein which may not be gluten free" I suppose a protein powder made with whey, could, maybe, not be gluten-free (it would clearly list wheat or barley). But in cheese, it is just referring to a part of milk.
  24. I have tried on google chrome on the PC and on the ipad and I can't "quote" a post to reply to it. Looks like I can quote on some threads and not on others?
  25. "as a "celliac" site you should clean up these outdated articles. 15 years later and anyone living a clean diet knows you absolutely cannot drink alcohol derived from wheat and not feel it. The manufacturers can say all they want and tell you it's fine to drink their stuff when these things are derived from wheat and clearly are making people sick. There...
