  1. Tinkyada pasta is just rice - does she have an issue with plain rice, too? If not, maybe its what you put on the pasta?
  2. I am not familiar with these meds so I don't know if just stopping them is a good idea or not. I hope you are discussing this with your doctor? When you are, maybe you could get a prescription to take to a compounding pharmacy? Maybe they can make these meds for you with out the cellulose you think you are reacting to?
  3. We seem to be cooking on a similar theme - I has beef stew in the crockpot! Soooooo yummy and easy. I got home and the dog and cat greeted me and then ran to the crockpot! Poor things..... Had to smell it cooking all afternoon.
  4. Let's see.... I have some catching up to do. Thur - rice, the rest of the encore chicken, can of Rotel tomatoes, Can of beans, some salsa, rice, a little chicken broth - cheese on top. Fri - Brauts on the grill with veggie/fruit kabobs - canned potatoes, red pepper, sweet onion & fresh pineapple - marinated in Teryaki Last night - Bonefish...
  5. Had nachos with the left-over chicken from Sunday night while we watched the game. GO ROYALS!
  6. That Manwich might be too wet. You might like to make it the "real" way but add some taco spices to the meat. Add taco sauce after its cooked. Hub liked our regular one with taco sauce as left-overs. It is a pretty mild flavor as written in the recipe. Last night we had some grilled chicken tenders that I marinated in lime juice, garlic and ginger...
  7. Not sure that's a real scientific fact but I'm not arguing with your agenda. It has nothing to do with the Op's question about raw fruits and veggies being hard to digest. Let's stick to the subject.
  8. Maybe it's a reaction to something new you are eating?
  9. Raw veggies and some fruits can be hard to digest. Sometimes cooking them will help. Usually, when you heal, you can eat the raw veggies again. And to address the egg " stuff" - in commercial mayos, the egg is pasteurized or processed in some manner to assure it doesn't have the same germ issues a normal raw egg would have. Cooked eggs can be a healthy...
  10. Making a chicken stew in the crockpot. Had a pound ? of chicken tenders - threw in the rest of the carrots, a few red skinned potatoes, a stalk of celery, some freeze dried poultry spices and garlic & a little instant tapioca to thicken any juices. Might add peas at the end. good clean out the fridge thing.
  11. Last night we had "Impossible Cheeseburger Pie" and a spinach and apple salad with pecans and a little lemony salad dressing I made. You could add things like taco seasonings and serve with salsa but ...for some reason, we always like it just like it is. http://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes/gluten-free-impossibly-easy-cheeseburger-pie/d85099e2-c64c-4...
  12. If you have questions, you might get more answers over on the forum. You might find other people's threads and posts on the forum helpful, too.
  13. I made these! Very nice. A bit like the top of a muffin - slightly crunchy out side and muffiny inside. Next time I think I will replace the chips with chopped walnuts or pecans. I put a speck of vanilla in the glaze. I didn't put them in the fridge before baking. http://glutenfreeonashoestring.com/gluten-free-apple-pie-cookies/
  14. Good for you! A lady needs the iron from the beef! ( that's how I rationalize it ). Lol We had some smoked meat in the freezer and we made sandwiches with lots of BBQ sauce and some Ore Ida oven fries.
  15. Hub grilled chicken on Sunday so we could use it tonight in a salad with a spicy peanut dressing tonight.
  16. Good girl. Why make life more difficult than it needs to be?
  17. http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/recipe/mac-cheese-waffles-recipe-waffleizer-22525703 They added egg to make the mac and cheese stick and bread crumbs. But if you eat eggs - then try some eggs and a spoonful or two of gluten-free flour. I have used any all-purpose for the Irish latkes or rice flour. I thought you were vegan? Just a dairy intolerant...
  18. I would say add a little egg and a smidge of flour. But you don't do egg. Has anyone tried the waffle iron using mashed potatoes - sweet or white? My Irish Grandma used to take leftover mashed potatoes add a bit of egg and flour and fry like a pancake. We called the Irish latkes. The recipe book guy did left-over mac and cheese in them. Let me see...
  19. I like that little Kitty, too. Babysat the baby nephew yesterday. He is about 10 months. He has 3 dogs at his house. My cat is fascinating to him. She was very good with him. Maybe had a baby in a past house. She lets him touch her but stands or sits just at the end of his reach. It sounded like he kept saying "cat". Some of these TV stations...
  20. I prefer a gluten free friendly place myself. Outback is a gluten free friendly place. I think they were trained by GIG? Not sure. You could check the GIG site. Part of what makes them safer is that the steaks, baked potatoes, green beans, etc don't normally have gluten in them for any diner.
  21. I posted this a couple of weeks ago. Its different things to cook in a waffle iron. I think they used tator tots for convience. https://gma.yahoo.com/photos/way-more-than-waffles-make-breakfast-lunch-dinner-in-your-waffle-iron-slideshow/ I know I saw one with tator tots but this is the basic idea of using your own potatoes http://abcnews...
  22. Add me to the email! Tall, dark and handsome and pizza? Now, if the countryside was beautiful...... Well then you would have something.
  23. I haven't had the pop but the Sea Salt Caramel Gelato..................................................................... Oh.... Sorry, got distracted by the memory........................
