    My baby graduated from HS this year, too. I wish mine was "organizing himself for his big move to university residence ". He will likely just start throwing stuff into his car the night before he leaves and forget important things that I will have to mail him at $20 a time.

    Every year, wrens make nests on out screen porch. They come in the doggy door screen flap. I think they were born here so they make a nest here. We have had 2 nests this year. The first was pretty painless for us. 1 baby, came out of the nest ready to go. This one - made a nest in A hanging flower ( it's trashed now), 5 eggs - 4 nice ones and 1 small...

    Last night I made a turkey breast in the crockpot! That is the way to cook them. It was falling off the bones good! I got the biggest one the store had - 7.5 pounds. It just barely fit in the pot. Put a 1/4 cup or so of water, a stick of butter in the "cavity" and sprinkled freeze dried poultry seasoning on it. I thought I would have lots of left...

    I meant to say lemurs, too! Love those guys! I really like giraffes, but Addy had that covered. I just scooped my piggies up and set them right on a towel and then carried them. They don't like getting picked up but they really hate the feeling of legs dangling and flying , thinking a hawk has them! Ohhhhh.... Piggies.... Pot bellied piggies, baby...

    So hard to choose....... Dogs and cats, of course. I love sea turtles.... But then there are sea otters.... The wrens in the nest on my screened in porch.... And what about dolphins? Orcas? Those are great! Bunnies.... Pterodactyls. - love to see them flying with their funny long legs hanging behind. Oh wait! Red pandas! Love those...

    Last night we went to the big Jazz in the Woods. No food allowed in except for medical reasons. But, as long as people weren't taking in big coolers, no one even checked. I took some nuts, some peppered salami, cheddar, grapes, cantelope, Glutino vanilla covered pretzels. Got som wine, some kettle corn and some more wine there. Going back tonight. ...

    Yay Addie! I have 2 crockpots - 4 qt and 6 qt. When we have people over at Christmas, you can cook things in them. Also, its good to cook in them about 3/4 full - so sometimes you need the bigger size. Or when you want to cook squash and something else at the same time. I don't mind being a kept woman! Not at all!

    We find a dry Riesling goes very well with toasted marshmallows. That's what Hub, M & I had last weekend with our marshmallows. We didn't add chocolate or grahams. I bet a nice Zin would go well with the chocolate.

    In menopause, you aren't making as much estrogen as you used to. Why would you want to get rid of the little you have? I wonder about that functional med nurse. Or perhaps you misunderstood? The broccoli med is to help you use the little estrogen you have? Also, not sure what is meant by "re-absorbed"? Unless you are taking oral estrogen - then Celiac...

    Love the Superman thing! So I looked at the mail today. My son has letters from - George W Bush, one of our state senators, vice pres Biden & Barack Obama. All I got was some advertisements and a couple of bills.

    Are they allowed to live in a 5th wheel there? Might be able to call the county or city on them. I am surprised they "work".

    I agree. Any weather is ice cream weather! We had Hot Pockets tonight with cantelope and grapes. Yum!!!
