  1. I like stuff that makes encores. That way, they can re-heat or re-whatever on their own. When M says "What's for lunch?" I can give him some answers. He can choose to go get Panda Express, but its not my fault..... we had chili and lasagna he could have.
  2. Share! Share! What flour did you use! All the details! We had crockpot lasagna for dinner last night. I might have put too much spinach in it as M started picking some of it out. He is normally so good about spinach inserted into recipes. I look at all these things people make but they just don't fit into my life. I have a kid and a hub that...
  3. I sent her a pick of Dr. F taking off his jacket - she got him topless! Lol
  4. Chicken pot pie - made with biscuits on top instead of crust
  5. Companies don't add gluten to get their products to 20 ppm or 10 ppm. Even if a product tests at less than 10 ppm, it may have no gluten or 2 ppm. It's just how the tests work.
  6. I find that potatoes, especially sliced ones, tend to stick and burn on the bottom next to the "walls". And, like I said, her cooking times are usually a couple hours longer than needed. Doesn't matter for some things like chili. speaking of chili, that is what we are having for dinner. We are getting ready for our first Robotics competition Thur Fri...
  7. I'm sure you can make enchiladas with corn tortillas in the crockpot. Glad you are feeling better
  8. The Buffalo Chicken lasagna came out great! 4 hours is the right amount! I cut the peppers - used 1 red & 2 green not small enough. They were still crunchy but the guys prefer them that way.
  9. Probably the same. Anything with lasagna noodles only needs about 4 hours. Maybe mine says 7 - not sure. I have a good lasagna one, too. I use half burger and half Ital turkey sausage. My food always cooks faster than the 365 Cookbook says. This is the one I use, except cook for 4 hours: http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/2008/10/crockpot-buffalo...
  10. Did you make the Crockpot Buffalo Chicken Lasagna yet? I am making it tonight. I will say that the original recipe says to cook for 6 hours on low but 4 is usually plenty.
  11. Burgers, foil packet potatoes on the grill - olive oil and. Italian seasoning, cheesy corn
  12. its not "big news" because it isn't a problem. I use any brand of plain that I find. I do like the different "flavors" of rice that Lundberg has sometimes.
  13. I have 2 and neither work. I got one " fixed" and it still doesn't work! Maybe Addie will sew something for us?
  14. I missed this somehow. What is the business?
  15. Looks great! And blueberries are one of the few fruits that thaw and taste like new!
  16. Bummer! The only thing I have had burn in the crockpot was some potatoes - but just a little on the bottom. The rest were fine. Last night we had penne with Newmans Own Marinara. I baked it in the oven with moz, Asiago, parm and Romano on top until brown. Yum!
  17. This is my question, too? It looks like it has a hole in the back and the grease would just spill out onto the counter. Some of the gluten-free grills don't seem to have a good grease catcher, either.
  18. Thanks! Someone has to be the guinea pig!
  19. We had a really yummy Smoked turkey and bean soup. Fabulous flavor - slightly spicy and nicely smoky. http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/2012/10/smoky-turkey-and-black-bean-soup.html I used a big piece of turkey they called a "turkey tenderloin" but you could probably put a turkey breast in, too. Used frozen corn , onion and frozen spinach - didn't thaw...
  20. http://whiteonricecouple.com/recipes/sweet-onion-dip-recipe/ I used Miracle whip instead of the mayo..... Nah! Just kidding! . I used sour cream instead - hub hates Mayo and Mayo- like products so much that he can't walk down that isle in the grocery. It's yummy. It re- heats in the micorwave. And the left- overs cold from the fridge are very very...
  21. The Buffalo Chicken Lasagna? It's great!
  22. I realized I never said what I served at my "Dip" party. Jerk chicken wings with green onion & sour cream dipping sauce olive tapenade roasted red pepper hummus chipolte cheese dip sweet onion crack dip guac & salsa to dip - Ruffles, tortilla chips, multi-seed tortilla chips, Glutino bagel chips, FFL rice crackers, carrots, celery &...
  23. Then my hub will ask in a loud voice, in front of everyone - Where are the X? And then everyone is like - OOOO! X! I love X!
  24. I always plan to make about a thousand things for a party and run out of time and only make 998 of them.
  25. More help! Anyone make a raspberry sauce. Like they put with chocolate cake? I could make it with frozen raspberries if that is cheaper than fresh.
