  1. OH MY! What time is dinner?
  2. Remember - I told you - we like people to just jump in. What are Triple threat chops?
  3. FYI - this thread is over 4 years old. Product info and ingredients can change in that amount of time.
  4. So..... if its just rosemary... they can't tell you anything else is in it. It sounds like it is gluten free. They label it as such. Many of us use this product.
  5. Did you read psawyer's repsonse? I just look for obvious things like - wheat germ oil. Even then, with the exception of lip products, I'm not eating them or getting a significant amount in my mouth.
  6. Once again, you have dredged up a very old thread. There is no reason to believe there is gluten in pickles. I have never seen it. Please explain which brands and perhaps link to the ingredients? Having a " reaction" to something does not mean it has gluten. Perhaps there are spices or just the acid that bothers you?
  7. I think it is really funny. Then I picture someone asking for a gluten-free car!
  8. We had better add this to the Newbie 101 thread! We need gluten-free cars!
  9. DH is a skin manifestation of Celiac. You don't get it if you don't have Celiac. It sounds like you know what causes this rash or irritation - deodorant and shaving. It isn't happening in other places when you eat gluten. In fact, you aren't linking it to gluten at all. Try a different active ingredient in a deodorant? Maybe switch to a mineral...
  10. These original posts are 6 years old. The products may not contain the same ingredients any longer. Please look at the ingredients, company websites, maybe even email the company if you feel the need. Just don't make any assumptions based on such old info.
  11. I'm not cooking for T Day. I'll just serve these: http://shop.saltandstraw.com/products/chocolate-lovers-gift-pack
  12. Ok. Couldn't tell from the post. Maybe rice just isn't for you? At least until you are feeling better, then you could try it again.
  13. Its possible to have an issue with another food that has nothing to do with gluten. It may be that rice is just not for you. However, if you were eating premade rice cakes, you probably weren't following the Fasano diet. I think it is all whole foods and no pre-made processed foods like rice cakes or flours. Here's a brief description of the Fasano...
  14. If you have Celiac - those "little things" are too much gluten. Eating burgers off of buns and foods with a little gluten in them means that you have not been gluten free. However, I'm not sure if that is causing your episodes. If you believe gluten is the cause or were diagnosed with Celiac, you need to eat very gluten free.
  15. We had left-over Mexican lasagna! Hard to get it hot in the microwave as it doesn't have much fat, but maybe better left-over. Trying to decide on dinner for tonight. I will be busy until about 8 so I was thinking something in the crockpot. Just can't get too excited about anything. I have some grilled chicken, maybe I will make some spicy peanut...
  16. Alcohol should be so highly processed that there would not be any remaining grain proteins - no matter what the grain. I'm guessing most would be corn based in the US. When I go to the hair dresser, her hairspray has wheat germ oil in it. I let her spray but cover my mouth. I think if you keep your mouth shut and maybe wipe off your lips, even with...
  17. Here is the whole page with what is 60% off. Looks like green stripes or dots, too http://www.myrume.com/SearchResultGrid.aspx?CategoryID=137&PK=ac3c3702-0750-4284-94ac-af2c412c63d8
  18. The cutting boards are only $24 with the discount code. FYI. Last night we had - grilled pork chops, black rice with some parm on top, seasoned with a little garlic and onion powder and basil olive oil, salad, homemade applesauce, brownies with ganache and raspberries and champagne.
  19. I think you could get your initial, too. I wish it were red as that is the color of gluten-free in our house.
  20. I forgot. I get the coconut body lotion at whole foods. https://www.desertessence.com/gluten-free
  21. A great Xmas gift for the Celiac in a shared household. http://www.myrume.com/ProductDetail.aspx?ID=1009&PK=ac3c3702-0750-4284-94ac-af2c412c63d8 All seasonal cutting boards & serving trays on sale through this Friday, November 8th. Apply code 'holidays' upon checkout to take advantage of this sale special!
  22. Tropocol is highly refined and should not have any gluten in it. I just look for the obvious things like wheat germ oil. I don't worry about products that might not get into my mouth. I don't have a wheat allergy, just celiac. I like CeraVE for lotion.
  23. Look at this yummy recipe! It looks easy too. But do step #2 first. If you don't know what "butterfly" means - slice the turkey breast almost all the way thru and lay it out flat. A Butcher at the meat counter would probably do it for you, too. http://abc.go.com/shows/the-chew/recipes/Turkey-Breast-Creamed-Collard-Greens-Deena-Carte
  24. Got curious and found this. https://www.celiac.com/forums/topic/94916-best-bread-recipe/
