  1. 1) do you have chiropractic in Hungary? if so, see one for your neck. 2) increase your magnesium, the vitamin D increases you body's need for it. 3) good luck
  2. a serving of protein in the AM would be good.
  3. the gene test will not tell you if she has it or not, and will cost time and money. if you need a hard and fast dx, go with the endoscopy.
  4. B12, once you are lacking, probably always req. supplement. won't exaggerate y our H+H, only bring it to norm, if low. Resp. disease, such as COPD, will drive H+H up. Curious your iron stores being low...may OP is correct and now, since your IMMEDIATE needs are taken care of, the storage can begin? perhaps NO change of supplement regimen, and recheck...
  5. do you have any respiratory diseases?
  6. yup, not EVERYTHING is related to gluten. you really need to get in with a gi doc and get worked up. are you being REALLY gluten free, totally, absolutely? good luck which ever way life takes you.
  7. your one o'clock sleepiness is probably related to your lack of protein at breakfast.
  8. hope so, and may they be positive (good) or at least easily fixable.
  9. http://www.us.sandostatin.com/health-care-professional/acromegaly/diagnosis.jsp?usertrack.filter_applied=true&NovaId=4029462092064793718 have you done a glucose tolerance test? and I am not so sure that it is a "cause" but a "marker of".....
  10. I think that is out Dr H's research. and I think it is not generally available, but maybe just very recently??? If you can get it done, do it! and let us all know.
  11. It would not be surprising for him to test - , it is common apparently. Do some searches on Dr. H....Also check out CoQ-10 and balance. that is what turned out to be my issue. good luck
  12. I would have to agree. It would seem the more logical step would to be to eliminate the potential cause, gluten, and see if it fixed the problem.....you know, that phrase about "do no harm"?
  13. 874 is not all that high, and was not a real measure of your 'steady state'. keep up the same or higher dose for a while longer. Your bowel issues sound like something is "getting you" ?another sensitivity, hidden gluten?
  14. Did you stop the B12 for at least 4/5 days before the test? you want the test done on a "steady state" level. What were the numbers?
  15. have you had vit/min levels checked??
  16. don't worry, the meds they give you often have odd effects, the docs know this.
  17. A doc without an ego problem! lucky for me i was sitting down......
  18. from what i have read, the neuro issues take the longest to recover, and may not be absolutely complete. found my balance issues were from lack of CoQ10. Your brother's onset being so quick would make either less likely than something viral. But I am thinking that either of the first two, maybe in the mix.
  19. I think the poster meant cooked together, ie as a vegetable side dish?
  20. I would have been tempted to report her to the AMA, for the last comment. True, it would not mean much in and of itself, but as part of a paper trail, it couldn't hurt.
  21. I would wonder if this itching is neurologic? and we know that the neuro issues tend to be the last to clear.
  22. If he is under 7 or so, it may be a case of "magical thinking." If he doesn't lide what you make, you will cave and give him what he wants....
  23. the sore tongue may well be a Vitamin B12 def. symptom. .....and where might that have come from....lol.
  24. taking acid reducers will/can aggravate this issue.
