    My son had two High Anti-Gliadin IgA results in a row, 22 and 23 (out of a scale of 10) so they sent him for a biopsy this was about 2 years ago. I remembered the doctor telling us the biopsy was negative. Now however I received electronic access to his records and this is what is written on the biopsy report.     well I saw my allergist. He did test me again for the 9 major allergens which came back negative. He suggested I take Allegra 24 Hours, as it has 180mg of antihistamine Daily, because my IgE is very high which indicates an allergy of some kind.     My situation was similar, my rash started on my fingers, then eventually spread to my elbows, and chest/neck area! I will say after 3 months of strict gluten free my rash really did not subside much, it calmed down but hadn't really gone away.     All I can recommend is to not go it alone on this. I spent 2 years trying to figure out my sensitivities and avoiding foods and products to try and calm down my reactions.     Yes mine in areas like my chest were dark pink and stayed that way for almost a month before they would fade. Some areas were more purplish though like my elbows.

    I have been on dapsone since January...and have tried 2 times to stop...at which point my rash blew up and the nightmare rash came back! one of those times included eating out...which should have been gluten-free but may have been cross contaminated.     Mine after 5 weeks of gluten-free (also, low iodine/diary free/egg free), was still spreading/new breakouts. The dermatologist put me on low dose dapsone and I am now 4 days in and its starting to calm down and go away. Hopefully it will go completely away in the near future (although some areas look like there will be scars for awhile)

    I have a seperate genetic clotting disorder prothombin 20210a. I luckily have never had a clot. I was diagnosed after repeated miscarriages. I have not been officially diagnosed with celiac.
