  1. Thank you all for that:)
  2. Will do! I would love to grow stuff, but then what to do during the winter. My yard is in a subdivision, so it's not really big enough to grown stuff for the whole year...BUT I'D JUST LOVE TO!
  3. Hi TH! Gosh, I am no cook...that stuff is complicated...but I can start trying that stuff. I don't even have a food processor yet. I am working on trying to learn to cook more things, and getting more kitchen supplies. My family is soooo bored with our foods. I am too. Hey, you are the one who said that you had a hard time finding safe ground beef....
  4. Hi all:) I recently decided to try to add beans back into my diet for added protein and nutrients. I am nervous. I am very sensitive, and only don't seem to react to products at 5ppm contamination. Anything higher is a reaction. I just read archives, but the info seems dated. I just made white chicken chili for my family for tonight, and I'm afraid...
  5. I used to keep a food journal, but i haven't done that in quite some time. I have thought about doing it again, but I eat so little that I would think that I could tell what is bothering me....but maybe not. And no...kids don't have gluten in the house or around me, and they are around me most of the time. The bday party was an exception. The bag is also...
  6. You are the one that I have had further questions to, because I'm starting to think that I'm at least in your ballpark of sensitivity...but I don't know yet. I am pretty sure that I react to 10ppm or even less, but I'm still working on that. I also don't know if my reactions to the known ppm are because I've already got UNKNOWN ppm in my system. I guess...
  7. Okay, so I've been trying to figure out some possible contamination issues in my house. I just had a handful of Enjoy Life choclate chips and 20 min or so later...I feel sick. I didn't think that I had a problem with their stuff, especially since it's made in a gluten free facility. Could I be wrong? I am already glutened, so maybe I'm just having some...
  8. I am still trying to figure this out too after almost 2 yrs of being gluten free. However, my symptoms are fatigue, brain fog, severe bloating, muscle and joint pain, nerve issues, facial flushing, maybe rashes, headaches, chronic severe constipation. Sometimes I only feel a portion of the list, and other times I get them all. I am guessing that it also...
  9. Hi. Thank you all. I have seen that other people are effected adversely by McCormick's single spices. I've seen that it's "hit or miss" with those. Some people on that post had figured out which ones bothered them, but then it could change too. Someone else on this site spoke with the manufacturing, and "yes" they cannot conclude that their spices are free...
  10. Hi. I'm trying to find gluten-free and soy free spices. I called the manufacturer of the 2 brands that whole foods carries, and they couldn't tell me that they are gluten free. Either some of them contain anti-clumping agents, or could be contaminated from running on the same lines as those that do. I am specifically looking for salt, pepper, garlic powder...
