  6. i should clarify - because corn tortillas *are* awesome - just not as a sub for what clearly could have used a flour tortilla. it really was a sucky combination. they turned sort of mushy and soaked up the juice from the salsa, then they broke apart. i like corn tortillas for other things it's funny you say that - i got nauseas walking into a food...

  14. french cuisine: lef d'ouvres hubs out of town and i'm lazy. i'm lazy when he is *in* town, too, but when he's out, i just take it to a whole new lazy level.   18. good we missed you! tonight - i had the worst craving for caramel apples, i usually have apples but no caramel so i made caramel sauce and dipped them. i ate A TON. i ruined my appetite!! so, it's beer brats for the hubs w/onions & mushrooms if he wants (i have them cooking now) (i might try them later) and frying up some pickled red cabbage...

  20. got any leftovers? that garlic balsamic chicken was so good - and ridiculously easy - i *heart* my crock pot! we chucked a box of sliced mushrooms in on top of the chicken. i didn't even stir it the whole time it cooked. i almost felt guilty ........ almost........ tonight i am marinating a flat iron steak for fajitas
  21. looks dee licious! that is one of my favorite recipe websites - some of their stuff is a little 'involved' but i have never made anything off there that wasn't uber yummy. their paska (easter) bread is spot on everybody can't believe it is gluten-free !
