  7. tonight, i think i made the best freaking lasagna i have ever made. gluten or not. tink noodles, make your sauce thin (or add a little water to jar sauce but i make my own 'gravy' lolz) layer your ingredients (except for the cheese for the top), cover TIGHTLY and no peeking for 50 minutes. after that, uncover and add cheese, another 10 minutes uncovered...

  11. i gotta say it: i kind of teared up a little - you guys really understand what it's like to not be able to do anything (or have the energy, ambition or courage) that requires effort. i am seriously not feeling like i was hit by a truck! it's amazing was a little tired of doing things yesterday but all in all i was active most of the whole three days...
  12. just got back from camping last night - what a crazy weekend - we had sooooooo many people i was in meemo heaven with all the grandkids in one spot. yesterday,, the 2 oldest took them all to gatlinburg so we had a nice, peaceful day. to clean everything up lolz we had my husband's favorite jerk chicken macaroni salad marinated coleslaw ambrosia...

  23. we *do* play with our food, don't we?!! i'm now thinking i could probably use kind of the same technique, except with lasagne noodles, cut them into rectangles and fill with egg roll filling. they would be still sticky enough to hold together, i think, and then fry the whole mess in olive canola oil. (one of these days ima get another deep fryer) ...

  25. for the crispy 'tink' noodles: i use the tinkyada fettucini noodles, but you could use any that you like. make noodles as package directs, then lay them out in a single layer on a rack for like, 2-3 hours. then i toss them in cornstarch and fry them in canola oil. sprinkle with salt after you fry them. husband likes them better than the 'real' thing
