  3. We saw it was delayed. Daytona is @150 miles north of us. We had 83 and sunny today, but rain is coming this week and a lower average temp. (like maybe 76 ?? lol) The hubs rarely makes any requests and he was craving corned beef and cabbage. (I have no luck eating preserved meats like that, but...) I love and humor him and he put up mirrors, art work...

  14. I scrub, poke holes, and nuke for a few mins. Slice with a mandoline or use a sharp chef's knife and watch your hands!   18. Today is one week in the new house and I have decided to break out all the "stuff" I found as I opened boxes all day. It's like Christmas here LOL Plus, we have a fantastic veggie/fruit stand right here, so I made A Pizza Bianco Chebe crust with an olive oil/garlic baste 4 cheeses (fresh ricotta, shaved parm, shaved gorgonzola, fresh MOZZ)...

  22. I also call it kryptonite, but I take great glee in walking through BJ's GIANT bakery section, my eyes wild and me, pointing at the stacks of bread, croissants and saying loudly "IT's POISON, POISON, I tell YA!" My poor hubs.....lol
