  2. lol.. no. I live in a rental house. My house is being built 5 miles away. The PODS container is in a storage facility about 20 mins. away. there are no big pots, casseroles or anything in the rental home. I need my stuff. see? we are going to get some of our things tomorrow. I have my kitchen stuff in boxes marked "open me first"
  3. It is in storage. That's the whole point. My house is being built, remember?. I am living in a rental. I can only bring in so much. It just landed here in FL. I have to keep most of my stuff in the POD.... For 4 months....grumble grumble.....
  4. Thanks, K Now, if I can find the right box with my big covered pot in the PODS container and fish it out, I would be all set... I made a cut and paste copy to my laptop.
  5. Well, I got blamed, but nothing ever came of it because as I still tell them, I am the cutest and the favorite.
  6. he he he! I can see you probably blamed your siblings for everything too. yes, please, Karen---shoot me the recipe. or post here, if easy enough? I am always loving the risotto!!!.
  7. I see you have posted a new thread saying you had gas and pain all night. https://www.celiac.com/forums/topic/104350-yesterday/ And this is likely the reason why, not the corn chips and the frozen gluten-free pizza you speculate about. Fast food joints are not the best places to try and get a G F meal. You could try using the Find Me Gluten Free app...
  8. (1) My mom recommended the pasta. (2) Pasta is not a night shade. (3) I did not tell you to put tomato sauce on it, now did I? noooooo.. (4) but, if you want to blame me, I can handle it. As the youngest in my family, I am used to getting blamed for lots of stuff. I may have overused the emoticons there, but it was fun.
  9. ok, well, this is very exciting...and the hubs is thrilled...we have learned about an Italian place with a gluten-free menu and a dedicated pizza oven "to avoid CC" --as they say on the website--and maybe we'll have to check it out in the weeks to come.
  10. and you succeeded..!! .thanks. I lurvs that guy! I had hogfish last night. Just a truly succulent, delicate white fish along with scallops for the hubs with some sugar snap peas and a tossed salad. 11. I honestly cannot stand the smell of lots of things. I have super-nose, chemical sensitivities and I do not think it is the "gluten smell "making us nauseous. I think it is chemically-laden fast food garbage making us nauseous. We eat cleanly now, Our bodies reject all that crap. It's partly psychosomatic and partly real-live rejection. I have read this...
  12. Best bangers I ever had were in Tralee in Ireland. YUM!! Hi everybody!!. Just popping in to say I am alive and kicking and this is the last night in our home. Sleeping on an air mattress and sippin champagne and eating pizza and cheese cake (my friend who owns the G F bakery made sure we had enough to eat the last 2 days). . Whoohoo ! yeah, the plain...
  13. I have found that staring at the package of meat only cooks it minimally. You may have to do something more to it, babes. In the olden days (back when we rode dinosaurs to work) when hubs was out of town, I ate stoopid stuff. The gourmet in me was not interested in cooking for 1, so I ate things like chip and dip, peanut butter and banana on toast, and...

  20. ...... So I'm yakking with my mum tonight and she was making pasta for dinner (because in Boston, it is still "Prince Spaghetti day" on Wednesday and a tradition that has carried on in my home for 30+ years, regardless of a celiac DX). And, I actually went to the same HS as Anthony who appeared in those commercials. (If you know what I am talking about...
