  1. Jane, This post is very old and the original poster and responders to it may not see it. Try posting your questions as a NEW topic so someone can read it and maybe help you out. IH

I feel ok some days and some days its bad :(

i just think positive. I could have it worse like crohn's disease o.O that would be worse.

  6. Hi Irish heart...your such a sweet tender hearted person! I love the story about your member name....it's so sweet! like you! your personality really comes through in your posts! Have a great day!

  7. I was going to wish you a Happy Birthday, but you beat me to it! Hope you have fun; are you doing anything special?

  8. Hi....yes, we are here! We got here in Sept. The 4 days in a U-Haul wasn't too bad, but I think I did get glutened somewhere.....probably Cracker Barrel. I thought breakfast might be safe. It's SO nice here. 77* today. :) I am adjusting quite well and not missing the Lands of Perpetual Winter at all. I couldn't figure out how to reply to your message, so hope you get this.

  9. I like your "kitty in the sink" pic too - is she your cat?

  10. Hi, thanks for noticing my new pic. She's a great little buddy, that cat! I notice we share a birthday coming up.

  11. I hope your doctor will follow up on testing you, now that you have the celiac disease DX, because --as my doctor pointed out---celiac may not explain all your symptoms and we need to make sure no other organs/systems are compromised. I have MANY health issues as a result of celiac, but hope they will resolve in time. As you mention quite a few issues...
  12. Hi Jenarella! Here is an article of interest for you on white matter brain lesions and celiac. I believe some people on here had brain lesions--hopefully they will chime in to help you with this topic.(I had several neurological/cognitive/ataxia issues--but do not think I had lesions. My brain MRI was "clear".) https://www.celiac.com/articles...
  13. Thank you for your support! I will take you up on some advice because everyday is different and so depressing.

  14. Wow...those are a lot of foods to go without! Sorry! In answer to your question.. I avoid soy because I had a high antibodies test result (IgG) to soy--but not to gluten or dairy/ casein (I was gluten-free and CF at the time)and was not even thinking celiac at the time. I was just really, really sick with a hundred symptoms and that was the test that the...
  15. Heal the inflammation from celiac, get some appropriate massage and/or PT (ask your doctor for a script) and check your levels of B-12, folate, iron and D. Proper stretches, yoga, walk... do you know a good chiropractor? get the back and pelvic muscles under control so it does not spread... okay, that's all I got! Hope you get relief soon!
  16. Sounds musculokeletal. Nothing on MRI or Xray, right? I have that mid-back and spine pain as well!! Many spots that hurt--they run along both sides of the spine, right? These are called "trigger points"-hyper irritable knots in shortened muscles---and they can refer pain to anywhere. I have rib cage pain, shin pain, you name it... Google "trigger...
  17. Hi...Great Birthday back at ya :0)

  18. Thanks! I needed to talk.... blessings and hugs!

  19. Hope today is a bit better for you. :) We all have the down days. I guess that is how we know the difference! ;)

  20. Hang in there. You will feel so much better over time. It's taken a good year for me to really feel like I had a handle on my health and this darn diet...some days, it is still shaky! But at least now, when I get sick, I know it, because I know how it feels to feel great most of the time. :)

  21. and gee, for something not very common and not necessarily showing up on testing, how come we are all telling the same story??...seems pretty weird to me.... then again, what part of this isn't weird??
  22. Sweetie, Keep the brownies. WE used the EnerG Egg replacer in a recipe (when I thought I had an egg issue) and it worked well!! You could try it?
  23. Eggs bother me too. I cannot eat them without feeling nausea and they sit right in my chest. Like a rock. They are not my favorite food, but I need protein. If they are baked in something, I do not seem to notice this....it is peculiar. They did not show up in allergy testing or in food antibody testing. I am thinking, maybe it's just something...
  24. PS Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

  25. Doing good, thank you for asking. How are you feeling?
