  1. It's her sports team through the local athletic association. We actually homeschool her because it was happening in her preschool last year. I love the idea of the super powers...thank you.
  2. Thank you! At home it's easy, we have our food and we are good to go, but she has little 5 year olds telling her that she is different and laughing at her so it's hard when we deal with her and situations with food. My husband and I were bullied as kids and I hate seeing it happen to her over something as stupid as food. Worse things in life though...
  3. They were pretty good and best of all nobody made fun of her for having different food I definitely agree that brownies are yum and they made the day for my daughter, along with her first ever trophy!
  4. My daughter has a pizza and cupcake thing to go to tonight so I made pizza with Udi's crusts (hope they taste ok), chicken Italian sausage and brownies from Bob's Red Mill in the mini muffin pan.
  5. Chicken breast with brussel sprouts that are sauteed with balsamic vinegar and bacon, probably will make rice also.
  6. Meatloaf and spinach mashers for us tonight.
  7. Steak with baked potatoes topped with broccoli salad.
  8. Tonight we are having steak and carrot latkes.
  9. Breakfast for dinner (I think my girls would eat pancakes for every meal if I let them), anyway tonight we are making banana split pancakes and turkey bacon.
  10. Not a recipe, but for meatloaf we use the same recipe we used pre gluten free and just sub crushed rice chex or crushed gluten free rice krispies for the breadcrumbs.
  11. I think I'll be making them this weekend too. We use the Bob's Red Mill cornbread mix and even my dad and sister who don't like cornbread ate alot of it.
  12. We are going over to my mom's house tonight and we are making chicken parm (the chicken is breaded with almond flour and we are using homemade sauce), salad and Annie Chun's pad thai noodles as the pasta. For dessert I am trying Pamela's vanilla cake mix and I am making a peanut butter cream cheese frosting.
  13. Tonight we are making burgers and fries. I found that if you soak the fries for 15-20 minutes in salted water then completely dry them, toss them with olive oil and salt before you bake them that they get really crispy. We kind of had our dessert before dinner (just a spoonful of ice cream), So Delicious Mint Chip almond milk ice cream, my husband found...
  14. Tonight I am making floret lasagna with sweet Italian sausage. I have been smelling the sauce while it has been simmering for a few hours already and dinner can't come quick enough.
  15. Tonight I'm making carmelized onion meatloaf, it will be the first time for me making meatloaf since going gluten free and the first time the my 2 year old will ever have it so I am hoping that she likes it (fingers crossed).
  16. Tonight I am making ribs, baked potatoes and cole slaw from the Gluten Free Goddess Snappy Crunchy Cole Slaw with no mayo
  17. I hope your finger heals really quickly! And have a wonderful vacation.
  18. We're having a simple chicken risotto for dinner tonight.
  19. Tonight I'm roasting turkey breast, boiled potatoes with sauteed onions, barely steamed green beans, cornbread and I think pumpkin pie for dessert. Started off as trying to find something to go with turkey that was on sale and ended up looking like Thanksgiving.
  20. I'm thinking breakfast for dinner tonight. My husband always loved Chikfila's breaded chicken on biscuits in the morning with hashbrowns so I think that's what we will end up having. I'm going to use chicken breasts that we breaded and baked with almond flour last night and either make biscuits with almond flour or just make waffles out of the Namaste mix...
  21. Tonight will probably just be chicken and rice with baby carrots for dinner (raw since that's the only way my 2 year old wants to eat them). Yesterday we went to my moms house and Easter dinner was completely gluten free We had ham, roasted potatoes, green beans, there were hardboiled eggs and I made cornbread mini muffins from the Bob's Red Mill mix...
  22. Tonight I'm making Chicken Parm with white rice noodles.
  23. Tonight my 5 year old is making 50/50 Bacon Burgers from the Eat Like a Dinosaur cookbook and some homemade french fries. Also, since she spent 3 hours looking at that cookbook I think we will be trying alot of the recipes.
