I am a 46 yr old mom of three wonderful kids (boy 26, girl 24, boy 20) and gramma to two beautiful little boys; one almost 4 years and his little brother is 7 months. I have been sick all my life, sick with autoimmune disease and related disorders for 24 years, and drastically sick with celiac for 12 years. I just received my diagnosis, have been gluten free for 2 1/2 months and am slowly healing and getting better... but its going to take a while! The damage done to my body has been severe so I am learning to be patient with myself and to not push it too hard!

I am glad to be part of this community. I think we all need a support unit and I am eager to make new friends and talk with those who understand what we are all dealing with physically and emotionally.
