I am married, with two children, ages 6 and 11 months old. I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in December, 2011. I have had symptoms for 10+ years. My mother has several inflammatory disease issues, and my sister has arthritis. In researching information about inflammatory diseases, I came across Celiac Disease, and discovered that I had more than quite a few of the symptoms. After self-diagnosing, I had a blood test which tested positive for Celiac. I then had a small bowel biopsy, which confirmed my diagnosis.

I am a vegetarian as well, and am looking forward to learning more about the gluten-free lifestyle, and more importantly FEELING BETTER!
