  1. We're having fajitas for supper. Simple, fast, easy and practically no effort involved. Which I need tonight because I'm already exhausted with a ton of work ahead of me. So my SIL who has forever inhabited the actual downstairs apartment in this house got married and moved out. It has been a slow process because she's disabled and her husband works crazy...

  4. omg, I leave for a few hours to do chores and kill some monsters and you women are out of control!   5. Apparently our dinner meat was rib eye. I looked up a few "recipes" and everything was basically fry it until it's brown on the outside and enjoy. So we seasoned, fried, and I made a balsamic and brown butter sauce for over it which was delicious. I also watch way too much food network.   6. If I see a recipe I like, or think I will like, I bookmark it. Then when I have a little time and no get-up-and-go, I get them typed up into my recipe template. (Yes, I have a Word template for recipes and refuse to print them any other way.) I keep them all saved in a file and I print them out as soon as I type them up and keep them in a 3-ring binder that...
  7. Those look easy. I think I'll make it a 1 egg recipe the first time. I always make the smallest amount of something the first time just in case I don't like it or something.   9. I make killer, amazing, to die for donuts. But they aren't a recipe. They're a mix.   12. I'm finally feeling much more like a human today. Getting some things done around the house that I let go all weekend. (Like my husband's laundry. ) But still taking it easy and letting it happen at whatever pace it gets done at. It's laundry, if it doesn't get done it'll still be dirty and waiting tomorrow. No big deal. Dinner will be leftover pork....
  13. Tonight will be pork tenderloin and (to steal from Lisa) stuff. I was going to make it tomorrow but through some sort of super weird magical thawing voodoo it is ready to be cooked today. I'm not sure how. But I'll take it! It's okay that some of your family doesn't like Peeps. I eat enough every year for at least 5 or 6 people.

  15. Thursday will be my husband's next day off work. Since he gets home super late, that's when we'll have Easter dinner. We're flexible like that.   23. We picked up some beef tips at the store today. I looked in my spellbook and found a recipe for some fried something with mustard and wine and Worcestershire. So I threw together a marinade with similar ingredients and tossed it in the fridge. I fried half with an onion for me and did his half without because he's anti-delicious things.   24. Irish sent to her room. Hahahahaha! That's hilarious. Chocolate mint is the holy grail of mint. The best of the best imo. And there isn't anything wrong with a patio garden, especially with good herbs!
