  1. Seriously I wouldn't consider it because all that bovine is pig- plus I read in a great book by a celiac dr. (he has celiac and treats it) from Columbia University that it only takes 1/8 a teaspoon of gluten containing foods or just gluten ( I'm not exactly sure which it is but I know it's 1/8 which is equivalent to a pinch) to cause continual intestinal damage. It's just not worth it- I visit another forum that is a support group for people who suffer from paplitations some get thousands a day. If you want the name pm me. Magnesium supplements have really helped people with palpitations as well as other things. I get palps too and I hate them!

  2. After reading the china study and preventing and reversing heart disease I have issues eating too much meat. Heart disease runs rampant in my family. I eat an almond butter smoothie as a snack or for breakfast in the AM and it provides fat and calories as well as easily digestible minerals. It's 1 cup each ice and unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 2 very ripe bananas, 1 large spoonful each almond butter and flaxseed meal. Im allergic to all grains and many other things too, so I eat that for breakfast or 1 piece of organic nitrite nitrate free turkey bacon with sauteed greens such as kale, arugula spinach etc with roasted sweet potato. Coconut oil is high in fat and if u aren't opposed to meat definitely try to up ur protein because it's easily digested for many people. I used to eat meatballs in tomato sauce with eggs opened in the sauce and that's delicious.

  3. Newly diagnosed celiac with multiple food allergies such as: all grains, pineapple, all nuts except almonds and cashews, corn, garlic, onions, pepper, cinnamon, coffee, tea, cocoa, certain fish and shellfish. I have ALOT of digestive problems obviously and a small hiatal hernia as well as heart palpitations that have decreased since removing allergies- although I've been getting new funky beats. My questions are 1. Anyone see a dietician to work out a good diet 2. Anyone have a decrease in allergies once their gut started to heal? Im hoping to not continue to be so allergic to everything. 3. Heart palpitations- how many of you suffer and how many have seen a decrease? Thanks

  4. Mushroom- I use cast iron which I have one that's only mine that I hide- sometimes I share the others is that a problem? I use the same sponge, towels, counterspace etc. I guess I have some more things to change. I'm just not sure it's cc since I usually get them during certain times of my cycle. I'm going to try to stay away from nightshades though too because I crave chips and eat those ALOT at certain times in the month. I sent you a private message after I read about ur afib, do u mind responding when u get a chance?

  5. I've been gluten free for awhile on and off but been gluten-free strictly just for a couple weeks since my celiac came back. But I'm still having issues. Maybe it's my cc? My husband and live in fil gluten up the kitchen daily with bread crumbs and I also use the same utensils pots and pans that are stainless steel etc. I'm wondering if I need to cut that out too?

  6. Hi I'm new here and also diagnosed with Hiatal Hernia. I've been getting palpitations for some time now, and have been cleared by the doctor as having begnin PVCs and PACs. But lately I've been getting a new symptom of boomboomboomboom then regular rythm. It's almost like 2-5 fast beats in a row with some irregular beats or flutters before or after or sometimes not at all just normal rythm picks back up. It's been scary! With my new celiac diagnosis I've noticed a decline in these beats but still getting them around ovulation until my period starts or ends- it goes from sometimes 1x month to 1-4x daily on and off during the times I mentioned above. My question is for all those suffering are ur beats like mine and diagnosed as afib or svt? My nurse thinks svt but hasn't caught it on a moniter yet. And have you seen a decrease or complete cure from them when u removed all gluten and cc? I was just diagnosed 2 weeks ago.

  7. I was diagnosed with a small hiatal hernia. Mine only bothers me if I eat foods I'm allergic too. While I was pregnant it really bothered me. What I feel is my stomach up in my chest or diaphragm. It's very uncomfortable. ALOT of people have mentioned jumping up and down on a trampoline but I've never tried that. I go to the chiropractors and she adjusts it. I also get heart palpitations which some people say can be from the pressure of the hernia.
