  1. Azure - I had to open up a photobucket account and post pictures there and then post links to that site. I haven't been able to figure out how to post them directly here. I hope you can post, I'd love to see pics that have been confirmed by diagnosis.

(And let me also add I haven't been officially diagnosed either so I wasn't sure if I should post or not but since the above two posters are in the same boat I decided to go ahead.   5. Your rash looks so much like mine!!! In additiona, I had areas of thickened, red, inflammed looking skin, probably from so much scratching. And what did my doctor say I had?? scabies. Ugh. He said I couldn't possibly have dh because dh doesn't itch. (I fired him, doesn't itch my eye, that's the main symptom.) I had a biopsy and that was rather non-specific...
  6. I both love and hate reading all these. Love, because I see I'm not the only one who visits stupid doctors. And really and truly hate because it angers me so much that there are so many stupid doctors "practicing" out there and there are poor, unfortunate patients who place doctors next to God and believe everything they say. I haven't been officially...
  7. The itch drove me crazy as well.....CRAZY. It took four years to be diagnosed as DH but then I had to insist that my derm. send me to a GI. Yep, full blown celiac disease. That was 12 years ago and despite me being my doc's most 'compliant celiac disease patient', it's back w/a vengeance. Flattened villi, major malabsorption, the whole bit. Wonder what his least compliant celiac disease patient looks like.
