  1. I have always emphasized eating to be healthy and did not focus on my weight or figure. I am somewhere around a month (?) into my rotational diet and also began pancreatic enzymes and vitamin B recently. My weight began at around 200 6 years back. I lost 30 lbs when I began a supplement program with my chiropractor. My weight had become relatively stable...
  2. I think yes, I don't feel giddy just now, but I sure hope this feeling right feeling lasts.
  3. I had exzema throughout my teens and early twenties. It went away. I did several things that might have helped. I did not know that I had celiac at the time. I began a supplement program as recommended by a chiropractor. I covered my hands with rabbit fur gloves as soon as the weather cooled in fall. I learned how to make homemade soap. Now, I won...
  4. I found out Thursday that I was also deficient in vitamin D. Oh, I thought, I look even more like a celiac then ever.
  5. Years ago I heard that spelt and Kamut were less modern than other wheat varieties. I began to eat them instead. I DID NOT KNOW I HAD CELIAC. I did not get better until I cut those out of my diet. I would say from my experience that it didn't help me.
  6. Here I go again. I think I am going through the same old series of happenings that I go through every time I begin a new phase of attempting to heal. I begin: New supplements : New diet change or : New excercise plan I begin with enthusiasm. I feel better. I get overwhelmed with the work, but I go on hoping that I can maintain the really...
  7. Thanks.cavernio I think the buckwheat is a factor for me. I also think I am working on healing as I have 30 years of damage. I began last April, I believe. I was hoping I wouldn't have to call companies and ask about other things processed, but that is pretty much where I am now. I have used my own mill in the past, but I set it aside when...
  8. Just so I don't sneak up on anyone, I have a natural healthcare bend. I would have died not seeing an MD.
  9. My nutrient absorption test came back incredibly interesting. It came back with a high need for: pancreatic enzymes, probiotics, B vitamins, vitamin A and probably others. I had too much Taurine and have stopped taking my supplements for that. I found I had markers for mal absorption. The very most interesting thing so far was that I need so much more...
  10. I hope you will be able to heal and find a clear problem. There are more veggi people around and they may see this better if you post it under how to cope with celiac instead of blogs. I just found I was intolerant to nearly everything I am eating but meat, so I can't t help much. You do need alot of protein to heal. Also you can't get B12...
  11. I motivate myself to stay on the diet in order so that I can help my body heal.
  12. Genova Lab Food intolerance. I guess with celiac and leaky gut to develope these antibodies.
  13. I found out that I have no antibodies for eggs, pork, avocado, cucumber, and sardines. All other foods that I have been eating I had a problem with! I am working on my next post about a rotational diet: coming soon.
  14. One day I was feeling perky and having quite an animated discussion with my doctor. I had previously not wanted to consider cutting gluten from my diet.. Desperate as I was, it could not be that helpful. I always thought that my homemade breads were so good for me. Then, I drew a new line and I could avoid gluten if I could just feel better consistently...
  15. I am glad you are back to gluten free! Enjoy your walk.
  16. As a person suffering from celiac I can relate to problems with mood. Vitamin supplements have been helpful to me to spark recovery. You need your daughter to recover as soon as possible. You should see improvement over time. I have just had a couple of joyous health triumps in caring for my son. It took a long time. I stuck as natural as possible...
  17. I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow. I guess she might have some of my test results. I am planning to bring cottom balls to stuff in my ears. If the results are negative, I lose credibility with my family. If the results are overwhelmingly positive (allergic to everything) whatever will I do? I stopped taking my 3 supplements which have rice...
  18. I am thinking I might not be tolerating all of my supplements.
  19. I have been thinking when my body picks up gluten, or something else it doesn't like, it just shuts off getting nutrients. Diana
  20. I am feeling so drained. I have a headache. I am thinking a few days without supplements caught up with me. Maybe I keep forgetting my good fats. I will be glad to get the results about nutrient absorption.
  21. I made it through the testing! I realized when I got in the car that the tank was only 1/4 full. Then I got stuck in traffic. I was getting close to the place and eyeing my gas gage wearily. I just gotta stop for gas. I looked at the clock. It was already 9 and I was supposed to be there. It was then I made the decision to risk running out of gas...
  22. Two days and I noticed some irratability and I am extra hungry.
  23. One full day without supplements. I am okay!
  24. For 8 months I have been gluten free. For 6 months I have been grain free. Shortly after I began the diet I began to seek after tests to optimize my healing. I struggled with what tests to do. Who should do the tests? Would my insurance cover the tests? I had a huge deductible with the insurance company with the Health Account now gone. However...
