  1. Sweet potato chips and corn couscous. Tummy is incredibly upset... Really, I have to put in my head I can't eat too much of anything /head desk
  2. I got iffy with raw eggs at first as well, though my sister adds a raw egg to her smoothie every morning and never got ill from the brand we usually buy... Maybe I'll ask her to taste the ice cream first Mine are indeed cage free, at least.
  3. Four At any case, I have a recipe for cake without eggs ready to go if they give me troubles.
  4. From what I could gather, there are several kinds of sweet potato. I used one whose skin is purple and the flesh is white/yellow-ish, not the orange flesh sweet potato. I couldn't find that one here... Maybe you could try new types out? And for tonight, I'll have a chocolate cupcake (yaaay) with almond spread (double yaay) and a tiny slice of passionfruit...
  5. I had. Only when I'm glutened now, though... This is how I know I ingested gluten and not some random other thing I can't eat (I have several other intolerances: coffee, honey, spice and everything nice, also cherries :/).
  6. Sweet potato chips and beef. Why didn't I buy sweet potato before? It's freaking delicious.
  7. Streangely enough, the stomach bug from last week was exactly that I was eating a lot by lunch and getting bloated until the end of the day... Which wasn't so comfortable if I ate lunch leftovers for dinner. Anyhow, tonight I plan to eat saut
  8. Boiled chicken wings. Turns out I can't handle big meals and it just leaves me bloated for the rest of the day, so I'll refrain from eating a lot in one sitting.
  9. Fish and chips Oven fries are definitely my comfort food now.
  10. Today wasn't a good day for cooking. I couldn't find unshelled almonds so I bought ones with shells and cut myself four times trying to unshell them with a knife, only to realize I had a nutcracker at home. Then I didn't unshell enough to make flour to the bread recipe I wanted to try, hence I tried to make butter and it didn't work, so I added chocolate...
  11. Corn couscous with cinnamon and brown sugar, plus a glass of passionfruit juice and an omelet seasoned with olive oil and oregano. Oh, oh. Also trying to reintroduce dairy to my diet and ate a grilled thin slice of cheese to see if I can handle it.
  12. Corn couscous and scrambled eggs, plus a serving of beans and acerola juice.
  13. Made some baked french fries this time A new week started, I may have two dishes with potatoes again. The fries went along well with grilled chicken breast and some lettuce.
  14. No agave around here (really, there isn't even a Portuguese name for it, I looked up), but plenty of brown sugar around my house.
  15. I'll definitely try that, sans honey. Yep, my tummy doesn't like it
  16. I tried to make some baked carrot sticks (as in baked french fries, only that... carrot fries ) though carrots without something to cover up the taste other than salt and olive oil aren't exactly my thing... That, and a green salad with beef. My stomach is still rather grumpy and upset, I think I have a stomach bug... Thank Merlin I'm recovering
  17. Fish. Finally can eat again without cramping due to gas, so meat it is!
  18. Steamed carrots with lettuce. I should've eat (eaten?) some chicken breast along with it, but my tummy does not agree with the idea... Bleargh, healing is hard.
  19. After spending the whole afternoon fueled by only three super small cupcakes, I ate baked potatoes, brown rice and a chicken wing. With a banana, a scrambled egg and caj
  20. Trying to keep out of processed foods, so brown rice, cooked chicken and some steamed veggies (carrots and potatoes). Will try to make rice cakes tomorrow with the leftover...
  21. Since I was starving, I made grilled chicken breast with saute
  22. Veggies and chicken broth. Gluten got me again :/
  23. Usually I just put salt, lemon juice and olive oil. But for that salad, I sautéed a chopped onion (a quarter ot it, actually) with oregano and olive oil. Then I put salt, and more olive oil.
  24. Since I am learning to do my own food, I have decided to do some beefs for dinner. As in myself alone in the kitchen. So my dinner was beef and a salad. And it was good. Success!
  25. I just feel more like a newbie posting here, but here it goes. I had a baked potato with scrambled eggs, guava juice and for dessert a bar of soy chocolate.
