  1. I needed cheering up today. This did it The students thought they were doing a film on the godd and bad point of their college for new students, but ... Mw
  2. Hats off to you Irish, NO stopping you now (On my PC for a change, and can use emoticons. Can you tell?)
  3. Spent the day stuffing myself, so not up to dinner. Note to self, just because the food you eat is healthy, doesn't mean you can eat in non stop. Think PMS is hitting in
  4. Strop = bad mood, hissy fit, throwing a wobbly, sulking like a big girl, throwing my toys out of the pram. What do you guys call that? Mr M told me what you guys might mean, and it's nothing like that. Even if was, I wouldn't have the energy for that after the day I have had... Mr M made chicken, butternut squash, zucchini, mushroom. I think he must have...
  5. Hmmm. So, I made dinner, and got it out of the pan. Using the spoon I just used to serve the kids wheat pasta. It's in the trash. Dinner is whatever Mr Mindwarp kindly prepares while I get over my strop. Maybe. (I also have views about the quality of driving where I live).
  6. Well, on reflection, maybe it wasn't so smart to try thai green curry on the same day I started a whole30 elimination diet. Tum not fantastically happy, but no other symptoms. Oh well, at least I don't feel like this all the time anymore. Dinner was chicken stir fry, carrots, zucchini, bell peppers and a sauce made of anchovies and coconut milk, with some...
  7. Yep, slightly grumbly guts but not intolerance symptoms. I reckon I can do it occasionally. Hope that hip is better. I am liking the sound of that pool, ski .
  8. Hey Vincent That is great news, congratulations. I bet Timothy loves having a Dad that can join in. Our little ones are such a blessing Mw x
  9. Hi w8in, Yes, it is a version of paleo. It has turned my life around since January. How is your daughter getting on with it? Dinner tonight was Thai green curry. My 1st since gluten-free last September. It was divine. Been about 6 hours and so far so good....
  10. That was me too last year. I am so excited to see your gf journey now. If your changes are half as good as mine you have an amazing year ahead. Prayers for your angels and mine Mw x
  11. I ended up with too much sun yesterday, and fell asleep on the couch. Mr Mindwarp woke me up for chicken and rice. I am starting a whole30 again today, but I have stayed pretty clean since my 1st one in January. So, no rice or white potatoes, and cutting down on nuts and dried fruit. The weight loss slowed, and I still have around 45lbs to go. More...
  12. Hi Geoff That sounds tasty! Welcome to to the dinner chat We had a rice spaghetti carbonara last night, yum. Roast chicken tonight.
  13. We had a lovely sunny but chilly day yesterday, and wednt with assorted family to the zoo. It quite a small one, with a lovely playpark. We all had a great time. Lunch and tea were brown rice, boiled eggs, olives, salad leaves, tomatoes. Addy, hope you are feeling better. The more I think about Gatsby, the more I like it. Spectacular. Grands...

  16. Wooooohooooski!!!!!!!! Isn't it great to be back? Having my own little celebration here. Just got out my map and thread, and I walked 10 and a half miles today. As well as half a day volunteering. And watching The Great Gatsby. (I loved it. And I think I have an idea for a new cabana boy). Hope you had seconds of that cake. You are just awesome. Mw...

  18. Just let me make sure I have this, I need to make sure I don't smell, in order not to offend a yeti, and I need to bring enough kake to keep it happy?
  19. A Chinese stir fry, chicken, cashews, coconut milk with rice. Happy but tired today, doing volunteering work, proving to myself I can work soon. Daughter fell asleep at 5.30, so expect to be up about 3 am. Life is never dull
