  6. Hi all My son is much improved, back to school today. Those steroids do the job. Still a bit nervous though, as his symptoms are so sublte, goes a bit pale and doesn't join in quite as much. No mighty wheeze, no cough. Called the Asthma Uk helpline, where they have excellent nurses, and a bit reassured. It was mother's day in the UK yesterday, and I...
  7. Son much improved this morning, thank heavens for steroids. I am still a bit wobbly, we haven'thad to get extra help for about 18 months, since we moved from the city to the coast, so it was a bit of a shock. Easy day for everyone I think

  12. Legumetastic news there ski! I had roast chicken, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, mangetout and ...my 1st white potato this year! That was 2 hours ago, so we''ll see if I am a zombie tomorrow. 15. We had to trade our van last year too, so I was double proud I did it ok on my first trip where I couldn't just throw everything in!! Lost 20lbs since 2 Jan and feeling...
  16. Ground lamb, with onions, mushrooms, zucchini, tomato with brown rice pasta (reintroduction on pasta, so fingers crossed). Nice to be back. Had a week away, stayed with 3 different friends, and I did all my own cooking in their kitchens, with my own equipment. No glutening, yay!!!

  22. Thanks Ski I have several of those symptoms, eczema, menstrual stuff, rhinitis headaches, and known reactions to red wine, beer, alcohol, chocolate cheese and yogurt, paprika included. And the list of things not to eat more or less describes my current food intake. I am going to try taking the diet back to whole30 for a couple of weeks, then decide...
  23. Encore bol. And turns out yogurt is a no on the reintroductions. Might try dairy again in a few months.
  24. Funny, I ended up doing cheese and rice together. I seem to have survived adding the gluten-free soy sauce too. Dinner is as many roasted vegetables.as I can get my hands on, and most likely lamb.
