People sometimes get the impression from me that I don't like them because I don't socialize outside of my "inner circle". It's been this way since I can remember, like I come off as if I'm just too "busy" or "important" for anyone else. I cannot stress that is not the case. Although I am very reserved, which I think is a better word, this characteristic of mine is natural to me that I don't even know I'm doing it. I will say this though, there's nothing wrong with being reserved. I've learne...

There must be another level. There must be more. I can't take this singular, circular, self-centered life. I'm shooting for the great, not the mundane.

I'm sad to announce we're all products of our "popular" culture. We do not act and think intuitively, like we should, but rather we are machines for propagating the invisible governing principles instilled within us by marketing, influence, technology, and many other forms of unaware impositions. What if I told you that you were not who you were but were acting according to what you have been framed to be? Would it not be enough to reconsider who you were and what you thought and the reasons...

I need some melodic ideas to go with a song I'm working on. Typically, I don't play melodic death metal, but one song that I'm working on in particular sounds very death metal and has a lot of potential. Please refer death metal musicians >here

I have been working on a song and I keep hearing this one part in my head. It just plays over and over. It's going to be a great song. Sounds very Wintersun-like though.

Tell me "I feel like a can of smashed assholes" isn't the absolute worst saying you've ever heard in your entire life. Thanks Nikki.

I've heard dogs play better notes than that. Do yourself a favor and re-evaluate your purpose.

Life is not easy for any of us, but what of that? We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted in something, and that this thing, at whatever cost, must be attained. — Marie Curie

Call me shallow, but I honestly think there could have been more legit missions on GTA5. I was hoping to play the game for a good month before I beat it. Hopefully there will be add on missions.

I'm emitting to myself an inspiration coming from a greater source. I'm content with it.

So, I think I spent like ten hours on GTAV yesterday. I haven't been this happy with a game in a long time. Awesome.

My dream is to become a professor, an apologist, a writer, a debater, a speaker, a brother to the exiled, a friend to my enemy, and many other things too. But what I am now and what I will become ten years from now is simply immaterial, because I am already myself, fully capable without the superficial titles of any of the aforementioned. What I am most interested in right now is the chance to use the qualities I already have to help others know the truth.

I'm sorry for anyone I offend in saying this, but someone needs to say it. I'm so burned out on the only kind of music I want to play. Everytime I look around in the metal scene, I see so many things wrong I just think to myself "do they really think they're going anywhere?", or "I think people are just so tainted that they don't realize what great music is". I'm not saying I have the answer, but I'm sure as hell not hearing it either. I think there's a lot of variables to this, however. Firs...

"Be strong and of good courage; nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9 One of my favorite quotes in the Bible.

To my atheist brothers, death is one thing we all share a belief in. So, let me ask you this. Imagine when you depart from that which you inhabit, you find yourself in the presence of a massive Light, staring right through you with a love that permeates your entire existence. All you can feel is Love combined with the knowledge of everthing there ever was or will be. The Light then says one thing to you: "I am". Many atheist who have had Near Death Experiences (NDE) have come out believing. B...

I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken. Psalm 62:1-2

"I have a fundamental belief in the Bible as the Word of God, written by men who were inspired. I study the Bible daily. Opposition to godliness is atheism in profession and idolatry in practice" - Sir Isaac Newton

The music scene right now, IMO, is trash. I can't even turn the radio on without wanting to puke, and I'm speaking literally not figurtively. There's absolutely no talent. The "artist" in the scene right now are willing to sell themselves out and their music for a dollar bill, rather than stand their ground and make real music happen. Everyone's so worried about getting their face seen that they miss the fact that its not THEIR faces people want to see, but the music they can create, so they...

There is a layer of frivolity and inner inanition in our society that preserves our foremost ignorance. To the finite philosophy, shadows are all that is required for life to make sense, namely - there is no one to answer to for any deed done. It's like the old axiom we all know too well as children, "Once I'm older, I will have no one to answer to". We try to preserve this adolescent paradigm into adulthood so that Supreme authority doesn't exist anymore, and we get a sense of freedom away f...
