Hi all, I've been gluten-free for about 2 and a half weeks now. The BAD flatulence I was getting has totally gone, and the bloating has decreased a little after eating, I did have 'C'(lucky for one bm a week, now its pretty regular just rabbit pellets!)
I was just wondering if you had these symptoms when did they finally go or decrease? Also if you had no appetite, when did that come back?! Thankyou.

Nothing I can really think of that's like that.. Unless the rice cakes could do that?
-
I keep getting tiny white dots when I have a bowel movements, what could this be?!
-
Yeah things seem to be improving! (Fingers crossed!!)
-
Hahaha! I hope I'm not turning into a moose either!!!!
-
Ahh I see, thanks a lot.
-
Ok thanks, atleast its better than not even 1 a week before going gluten free!

Can it be the clearing of colon+intestines? What I've read about suggests it could be(especially as gluten damages intestines)

Hi, sorry about the horrible topic but I've just been concerned with a lot of things recently. I have been gluten-free for about a week and a half, and a lot of my symtoms have decreased, no bad flatuence, not so bad bloating etc. When I wasn't gluten-free I had VERY bad bowel movements (sometimes not even 1 a week!) Now I'm on it they're a LOT more regular, bit a lot of it is hard little marble types but loads of them! I've searched it on the internet and some sites said it can be a sign of your colon/intestines clearing after bad constipation (as its been there a while and its turned hard and into balls). Can this be true?

Thanks for the feedback! I think its just my body adjusting:)
-
The reason I say this to is because these symtoms have only started after I've gone gluten-free (just over a week)
-
Yeah, I don't think its that, as I get it in both sides. Nothing serious or painful just wondering if it could be sign of improvement?
-
I have a little shooting pain down the right side of my stomach after eating, it isn't at all that painful and goes within a hour or less. Is this part of healing process? Maybe the healing of intestines? Or colon pushing all the waste out from the big C?!

Ahhh ok cheers. I think its just celiac to be honest(fingers crossed ) as things are improving!

Do routine blood tests implicate if thyroid is high or low?
-
Trying it myself as my mum has it as of 9 years. My symptoms have been for about 9 months but seem to be improving. Constipation, lack of appetite, bloating after eating, rumbly tummy, bad flatuence.

Haha thanks! And yeah things seem better ill see how they go!
-
Thanks for the feedback ill look into a humidifier! and yeah that could be the reason the anxiety, because my symptoms have decreased a little since a week gluten-free. I have had A LOT BETTER bowel movements now, regular.
-
These past few days its been a lot better after being a week on gluten free, I didn't ever have bowel movements, 1 a week if that! Now I've been every day since the diet. Touch wood lol!!

Thanks:) and they've died down a bit now, as I don't much caffinated drinks now, probably was the cause!
-
I've read that the problem with the lips could be due to nutrients deficiency? (Celiac as nutrients aren't being absorbed) and yeah thought it was, I think that they was just in my head when I thought it.
-
Also can frequent urination and dehydration be symptoms?
-
Again another post I just want to be clear on, I keep posting but just want confirmation!
Can waking up in the morning with like, sticky, chapped lips with a white coating be a symptom of celiac disease? Cheers

Ahh thanks for that, I haven't been positively tested, but my mother has it. Since going gluten-free the terrible gas odour has gone but the C and a bit of bloating is there also don't have an appetite much but I still eat. Just hoping it is the gluten what's causing this so I've got to the bottom of it at last!
