  3. I have been really active on this forum for three years. Probably, (no way to prove this) but at least 20% of all posters post once despite getting good responses from other members. Maybe they got the information they needed or said what they needed to say. Who knows?
  4. One of the best investments we made (not necessarily financial) was getting an RV. We travel all over and bring our gluten-free kitchen with us. We have also traveled internationally successfully. I can highly recommend Italy! You and your wife deserve a vacation!

  15. Oh, Trish at the GlutenFreeWatchDog tested Planter's honey roasted peanuts three years ago. The can did not state gluten-free, but showed no gluten ingrediants (per Kraft policy). Test result: less than 5 part per million which is pretty much gluten-free.

  17. I think that we have to remember that celiacs often develop intolerances due to our damaged guts. Our guts do not ncessarily heal either (usually adults) for a variety of reasons even if their symptoms improve (see links below). Nuts are just plain hard to digest.   20. I am not an expert in thyroid disease, but I have Hashimoto's and my Mom has Graves, so I can offer a personal perspective. My thyroid antibodies were off the chart some 20 years ago.
