  2. Great story, Gee Eff--glad those critters had a happy ending Had a mole removed once but they cauterized it--no stitches. Had 3 ugly looking "moles" on me forehead that were actually some other harmless (but ugly) growth--the derm froze those off . Good to get those things taken care of Well, Happy New Year all We are going to friends' house...
  3. Oh Jess, I'm sorry about the chicks and yes, when something like that is happening you kind of act on instinct and your physical feelings take a back seat to the emotional ones. I am sending warm, positive thoughts that the wee ones will somehow pull through. Keep us posted and take care of that back;)
  4. Was thinking along the same line--3 great minds!
  5. Matt stayed over last night-- we opened presents and ate bacon and cookies for breakfast:) Merry Merry!
  6. Merry Christmas, foodies:). I'm up to my elbows in pie crust and cookie dough. Have a wonderful holiday!
  7. Merry Christmas everybody -- do as Jess said and stuff yerselves psilly! Enjoy!!
  8. Lisa, that pie sounds incredible ! Enjoy Tonight, after being out all day, we had Tink spaghetti with Patsy's sauce and fresh Italian bread from the (gluten-free) bakery. Now on to wrapping gifts....

  12. Spell check does not recognize psllie. Although, there are a few words I use often on my phone whilst posting on this thread that it actually remembers! Looks so phunny when those pop up Stay safe and warm everyone! Karreighn, I'm glad he doesn't have to drive today
  13. Ended up making Ginny's recipe--with basmati rice. It had bacon plus I had all of the ingredients on hand. Delish!
  14. Shop Rite has a nice little gluten free section. I normally shop there and Weggies. My only quibble with W is that they have a lot of their own products-- which is fine, they are well labeled and all-- but they don't offer as many national brands as a result. Those things I pick up at SR.
  15. I get them at WF, Wegmans, ShopRite, or Acme. At Weggies they are in the "Natural Marketplace" but they are with the regular broths at the other 2 grocery stores.
  16. No Lots of spices and things in the pantry but decidedly more....ordinary
  17. These sound great--thanks!! I will peruse in detail this afternoon
