RMJ's post in Blunted villi almost 4 year after diagnosis was marked as the answer
I only had the one endoscopy. My GI wasn’t worried that I still had blunted villi. My antibody levels are now normal. I never had specific symptoms, although I generally feel better now, less fatigue.

I don’t know what sort of labeling TJs does for gluten free. In general, if a company labels some products gluten free, then has a product not labeled gluten free, I would be very cautious with that product.

RMJ's post in Labcorp Celiac Testing for Providers vs. On Demand for Patients was marked as the answer
I just looked at Labcorp, they sure have a number of different celiac panels!
You’ve had the total IgA tested before so there isn’t much value in retesting that. You don’t have a deficiency.
The panel you ordered for you... -

Welcome to the forum, and to a celiac diagnosis.

This looks like the most recent attempt in Congress to pass a law requiring labeling of medications with respect to gluten, although it didn’t make it through.

RMJ's post in Daughter test results was marked as the answer
With symptoms, family history and positive TTG and Endomysial antigen tests it is likely she has celiac disease. It would be best NOT to remove gluten from her diet now as that could affect any additional testing by the gastroenterologist.... -
RMJ's post in Endoscopy on 2 year old was marked as the answer
“lining appears healthy” sounds like a visual inspection, especially if you were told that on the day of the endoscopy! Biopsy results take longer. Celiac damage can’t always be seen with the endoscope, so you’ll need to wait and ... -
RMJ's post in Four months in, labs show progress, still having some symptoms. was marked as the answer
How do you define strictly gluten free with respect to processed foods? I have a degree in Nutrition Science so I thought all I had to do was read labels and not eat foods with gluten ingredients. For me that wasn’t enough to get al... -
RMJ's post in Celiac disease or not? Differing opinions among GI MD! was marked as the answer
Yes, it is what I thought. Each line has to be read all the way across for those two tests. It certainly is a confusing layout on the page! The Endomysial Antibody IgA is a separate test from Immunoglobulin A, Qn, Serum (Qn probably ... -
RMJ's post in Newly diagnosed and scared to touch anything outside of my own home... was marked as the answer
You may be going a little overboard. Do you share desk space/computers etc? Disinfecting wipes won’t destroy gluten - it must be physically removed. But touching gluten isn’t a problem if you wash your hands before eating or touching your... -
RMJ's post in Test results question was marked as the answer
The ranges are different because the units in which results are reported are different. It is as if one test manufacturer used micrograms and one used ounces, but the celiac test units are arbitrary and there is no conversion factor ...
