Vital Wheat gluten should be the gluten proteins left after the starch has been washed away.   3. Yep had the constipation issues for years, went regular after going gluten free. Now days my reaction is a different and the last exposure left me with diarrhea. You find your symptoms can change over the years with this disease. You might also find many other things and health quirks you took for granted will clear up once gluten free.
  4. I would actually suggest avoiding anything that is made in the blender, even commercial blenders are prone to stuff getting stuck the seal around the blades.   6. Hmm you might double check the oatmeal to see if labeled Gluten Free. They do often have contamination issues otherwise. Another thing to consider is like 10-20% of celiacs will react to oatmeal the same as gluten to some degree regardless of being gluten free.

  9. Well Celiac never goes away, it is a genetic autoimmune disease (Gene can be dormant at birth but permanent once active). Sure the damage can heal in a year or so, but if you ever eat gluten the immune system will start attacking your intestines again and normally it is worse then it initially was.
