  1. >.> this is odd coming from a male but I use EO hair care since they have a nice keratin infused shampoo that works great with blow drying and straightening hair with a iron. I also use Acure skin care products often like the facial wipes, and scrubs. I am currently using The sea weed company bath wash, and been using Hugo Naturals hand soap for awhile...
  2. I feel on this quite alot, I live the bubble life, up and down days, very limited. Been like this for years, I still have hope, I am trying to run my own gluten free allergen friendly baking, and snack business. Bit of a issue getting money with my health, situation but I started a fundraiser that is slow, and hoping I run into a philanthropist to jump start...
  3. Interesting topic that might give you some food ideas to balance stuff out and supplements, even listed my shake brands I have had good luck with (all are oat free and vegan) https://www.celiac.com/forums/topic/116482-supplement-and-foods-you-take/ I mostly just stick to my safe house for most my life and have found wearing gloves outside my house...
  4. Man seems like you just keep hitting ALL HELL. Perhaps you should tell life to to screw off and not eat anything but prepackaged bottled gluten-free certified bone broth and sleep for 1-2 days. No pills, no other foods, nothing but prepackaged bone broth straight from the container. This means no contaminated cups, bowls, utensils, foods, pills, meds. Perhaps...
  5. I found a anti stress supplement (Liquid Health Stress & Energy) that I take in partial doses through out the day along with magnesium supplements (Calm Vitality, and Doctors Best), seems to help. I also walk a lot, I find pacing or calling a friend and talking out my issues to help. The whole gluten thing drove me nuts and the brain damaged that resulted...
  6. ............OK.......I got to say sorry but I think you need to move somewhere that actually has good doctors and a healthcare system that can help you. Sounds like everyone in your area is a quack or does not care. That is ridiculous to have to deal with that.
  7. There stuff used to be safe......pictsweet should still be safe. Might have to start making my own in vacume steam pouches again.
  8. Hate to say it but this keeps popping up in my mind, your homemade sausage might be doing it. If you have used a contaminated spice or ingredient in the grinder, packer, it could be contaminating later batches. I know the old modified meat grinder I use for a seed mill is metal and porous. Would be near impossible to clean out good if it got contaminated...
  9. Well this has me a bit concerned, I know I have had celiac for years, But as of late I started having really bad issues in my large intestine, mostly extremely blood stool, bunch of yellow mucus, night sweats, and sometimes just dropping clotted blood when I feel the need to go to the restroom. I have scopes in under 2 weeks scheduled, doctors said it could...
  10. It honestly got a tad stupid how I would fix stuff, bit from paranoia but I used to just open the pantry, spice door, and fridge and get everything ready then put on gloves and fix my meal without touching any handles so I knew my food would be safe. I also laid out butcher paper on the counter so nothing would touch it (this also makes cleaning up real easy...
  11. I would say go with what GFinDC suggested and go on a whole food only diet, nothing processed for a while, A food elimination diet might also help, you might have developed a intolerance to some other foods so try removing certain foods completely from your diet for a week then reintroducing them to see if feel different. I have heard of others developing...
  12. Gluten is present in wheat, rye, barley, etc. A different kind of gluten protein is present in some other foods but not the kind to worry about (IE corn gluten is a different kind of gluten) If you wish to cut out dairy you do not have to give up yogurts there is So Delicious Coconut yogurt available and even in unsweetened versions ends up being healthier...
  13. I have for a long time considered expanding my gluten-free bakery from a cottage home bakery to one where I can sell my snacks, baked goods, and almond butter at other venues and start shipping orders. Pretty much everything is in place aside from having a separate cooking area from my huge home kitchen to make the stuff in. And Finally I worked it out, comes...
  14. I had two of my most recent recipes featured in the newest GERBs Allergen Friendly Foods News Letter my Parmesan Substitute and my Sweet Hemp Pesto
  15. As a adult I have started re watching all the Star Trek Episodes, Most from the Original, TNG, DS9 episodes all cover interesting issues and different takes on issues with humanity from a different point of view and perspective. I have found this to be very intriguing to say the least. Anyway I finally got around to re watching the original and am on the...
  16. ...I developed my own crust from 2 other recipes using cauliflower, almond meal, and almond cheese as a base. The consistency is like that of a artisan pizza shop, the dough very gooy and dough like due to the cheese in it. You have ti eat it with a fork but I found it very indulging to make on occasion. Pizza Crust /Pizza Recipe 1 medium head cauliflower...
  17. So I tried to eat some carbs again and started with a half cup of black beans. Well seems after eating just fats, protein and very small amounts of carbs from vegetables my body does not know what to do with carbs. I lost 3lbs of weight from waking up on a empty stomach and eating them with my 8 egg omelette, then eating a chopped salad with eggs, hemp seeds...
  18. I recall back when I was in denial of having celiacs years ago. I was at my grandmas and she had a old container of flour. I tried a bit of it on a whim, had a earthly flavor tad deep and off and I assumed it was old flour from god knows when. But I did not have a reaction to it, this made me think perhaps it was not gluten but the other crap they put in...
  19. I have broken down and gotten a ice cream machine in the past 4 months and a bunch of lor ann oils ice cream flavorings. I found making a protein pudding mix flavoring it and loading it in for a after dinner bowl to make me pure pleasure and not care about breads/carbs. I normally start with a almond milk base, add a fat like almond butter, coconut flour...
  20. Yeah, my first response to gluten is my lymp nodes swell, and I have been having the night sweats for a few years now. Got to admit the doctors actually causally said I might have lymphoma but needed further testing. Sorry can not be of more help, I will respond here if they ever get back to me about it.
  21. Yep, exactly like me. I did a post on the mental trauma of this earlier. There are plenty of post related to this with others talking about it. I do a mixed regime supplements to help with the anxiety, and has really taken the edge off. As for the fear, yeah my reactions are so bad that is instilled in me as a trauma and I have very similar dramatic reactions...
  22. I just stick to Spicely Organics....all their spices/seasonings are certified gluten-free and free of additives.
  23. Been running into a issue trying to find gluten free mushrooms. Seems as of late they like to grow them on a compost mix including oak chips, contaminated oats and rye or use a grain like rye for a spore carrier in starting batches. I have ran EZ-Gluten test and gotten positive results on several of the fresh ones in the stores, called and confirmed...
  24. Bit of a thought, try dropping both, getting the individual ingredients by themselves and try using just a teaspoon of one. Might be nasty and bland but would help figure out what it is that is bothering you. It could just be a one uses the offending ingredient in a higher concentration then the others or has something that off sets it. Oddly when you mentioned...
