Problems with red grapes
Ennis-TX replied to Betty Paterson's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I think this might be a tannin issues or a fructose issue. Of course it could just be a food intolerance or sensitivity. If tannins, do you feel ill with black teas or red wines? I have heard of tannins causing various issues from straight vomiting, gastroparaisis, and odd things like headaches. Fructose intolerance issues or related to SIBO Candida... -
Looking at the wraps I see 2 ingredients that are not gluten but many have issues with that could be your culprit. Pea Protein, is a form of legume some have distention, gas, and vomiting from it...we see it often with stuff like Daiya cheese etc. The other is Xantham Gum, it can be made from different bases but it is black rot So if you have issues with...

Fat digestion with celiac
Ennis-TX replied to Mikeymike93's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
>.< I spent years with issues eating fried foods, added fat foods, and anything with animal fats. I found taking enzymes high in lipease and or targeted for the keto diet helped me break them down. But my issue was linked to my pancreas not working right and producing enough enzymes. Another thought could me low stomach acid...as in the acid is not... -
Take gliadinx if I catch it early enough...seems to reduce the severity. I normally end up on a soft stewed food diet of simple foods and bone broth. I also have to take extra magnesium and digestive enzymes. Cooking everything to mush and avoiding carbs, fiber, spices, etc...Think of your intestines as carpet burned or raw....avoid anything that might cause...

This one uses a really thick heavy batter to make the breading stick better. For the panko I used seasoned pork rinds crushed enough to be breading with a extra 2 tsp of bbq rub mixed in but you can use baconshair pork panko and season however you want. 4 oz pork rinds crushed into a powder like texture(or pulsed in a food processor with the seasonings...

I did fried chicken Friday, did 2 breadings (Half were pork panko, the other were seasoned almond flour) and even used the leftover batter to make some baked hushpuppies in a muffin tin. I used crushed BBQ pork rinds for a panko like crunch breading with extra BBQ rub mixed in. To get it to stick I used a blend of Eggs, Mayo, Mustard which was really nice... -
SO today was a mixed day. First thing this morning my emotional support animal died, I talked on a forum for his kind and his quick and sudden death was said to sound like he ate something poisonous. I figure a wild cricket got in to his enclosure and he ate it. (their is poison applied around the outside of the building) Moving on from that, I...

Yep, took years to be able to workout right again. Still have GI issues if I run/jog, or a whole lot of jumping around. I stick to a stationary bike, under desk elliptical, weights, and HITT that focuses less on fast moving and jumping but just going from each exercise with out a break and keeping good form. I only do 20min sessions of weights and split it...

New Model for Food Assistance Taps Tech to Feed Hungry People
Ennis-TX commented on Jefferson Adams's article in Additional Concerns
>.< the gluten free part is a joke on these unless that unit/kitchen is dedicated to only gluten free. But I have dreamed of opening a food truck that was paleo and dedicated gluten free, and seeing about working with the community for free meals and soup kitchens with it at a set interval depending on funds and ingredient donations with plans... -
Might see about local celiac support groups if you looking for group trips then plan for places that have good selection of options. I often plan my trips around checking out gluten free dedicated restaurants and other bakeries who make gluten free (plus paleo and keto) baked goods. Not done this in awhile though. For events there are expos like the nourished...

Self imposed nutritional deficits cause blindness in teen
Ennis-TX replied to GFinDC's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
I read this article yesterday lol. I know quite a few people that live off that garbage...hell even my cousin feeds his 2 daughters that diet along with pizza roles and soda....guy is a single father and can not cook. I do not understand why so many people can't try eating healthy or fixing proper meals. -
I am lactose intolerant and have a whey allergy...and corn allergy, UC, and Celiac....anyway. I eat this one cheese brand (Lisanatti) that is whey and lactose free but has Casein protein and I am fine (Ironically most have issues with the casein protein) But typically I stick to "Vegan" cheeses, Miyoko has some good Mozz and Smoked Mozz which can be great...

Bread

>.> They say to avoid bread for awhile til you forget the taste/texture of gluten bread. I started off buying some from the store...hated them (this was 6 years ago and they all tasted like dry cardboard), started making my own after that. TONS of issues and mistakes before I learned of my other foods issues. (I reacted to yeast in yeast breads... -

Today...I had a ton of sausages and waffle batter left over from the farmers market that was rained out. I had a baked quiche with vegan mozz, turkey breakfast sausage, and a bagel from my bakery, a few of my shortbread cookies for dessert. Lunch....I just poured some of the waffle batter into a bowl, mixed in a extra cup of egg whites bit of almond milk... -

Migas....from my child hood was a bit different and nothing that fancy. It was any stale chip (fritos, corn chips, or even tortillas/tortilla chips) that would be lightly crushed dumped in a skillet and scrambled with eggs melted cheese on top and severed with salsa. It was essentially a meal so chips or tortillas would not be thrown away. Still miss it lol... -
Well I started off doing breakfast bars at the farmers market yesterday. A unforcasted thunderstorm rained it out but I ended up with 6 orders from regulars for curbside pick up lol. I still have all my baked goods in the display fridge in the store front window but low sales there. >.< I did go ahead and chop up toast, and currently dehydrating the...

Well I got closer to the perfect waffles selling at a farmers markets I hate that I have to add a bit of tapioca starch to my mix, I mainly use coconut, almond, swerve, eggs, bit of butter flavored coconut oil, and baking powder. BUT to get the super fluffy soft texture I have to add the starch. Just barely fits my keto diet and I have to limit my intake...

>.< I eat sweets, desserts, pizza, breads, etc daily....I just make them keto and even sell the cookies, cakes, breads, etc at farmers markets and my store. Heck even have quite a few test recipes and good recipes posted on my blog on this site.

The stuff sold is shops has a chance of CC. they mix flavors in various blends. Chances of CC during processing, packing, and at the shop. Pure MJ would be safe.....funny but none of the guys I know use zigzags...always cigar rolling paper or a pipe. You might try making edibles with it. Few tips here, grind the pure leaf cuts in a mortar and pestle...

Might start keeping a food diary, and changing to whole foods, so you can easier see what you react to. A detailed report of what you eat and when you have said reactions or feelings can help you find patterns with foods. It will also be useful when showing to a doctor or dietician. https://www.wikihow.com/Keep-a-Food-Diary Soy has some adverse effects...

Mixed it up yesterday doing a egg bake with left over meat loaf for breakfast. Lunch was a blended quiche with spinach and turkey Italian sausage. For dessert I took some Sunbutter cookies from my bakery and ate them dipping in some homemade sugar free jelly. Today I did the Califlour Pizza crust, Mozz, and egg dish but mixed in a ranch seasoning mix... -
As said just because you have the genes does not mean you will get it,. But 1 out of 133 Americans do have celiac. There are over 200 known symptoms for celiac and it can manifest in various ways and many go without noticing GI issues and it only shows up as damage via a endoscope with biopsies viewed under a microscope. But first is the above mentioned...
