Will PM single serving version of recipe does require a certain dish to form it in and a scale to measure ingredients. There are plenty of gluten free options for cakes etc. Heck there is even a few store bought ones safe for me like Good Dees, and Swerve mixes being grain free, dairy free, gluten free, and low carb, few other smaller brands out there...

Yes, funny but that list is a bit on with something, those are common issues people can develop sensitivities or intolerance issues with. Heck the coffee can upset damaged intestines. I developed a corn allergy and whey allergy, lactose intolerance just comes with the disease as you need the villi to produce enzymes to break it down. Yeast can upset the microbiome...

Love both Maria Emmerich has recipe books for both air fryer and instapot with all keto and gluten free meals if you need some inspirations >,< I have yet to buy them, but plan to sometime hopefully. I had tons of fun coming up with ways to do alternate breadings a few months back from using ground up pork rinds to different nut flour blends and binders... -
First keep eating gluten daily til all testing is done...celiac requires you to eat 1-2 slices of bread a day for 12 weeks for blood test or 2 weeks for intestinal biopsy. Go ahead and look at the Newbie 101 section if you will and check out the things about CC and the foods to avoid. If your just a type 2 diabetic then something like a paleo/keto...

>.< I started a gluten free bakery after diagnosis and now I do catering, baking, and setting up and making/selling food at events. I miss something...I make it gluten free, and keep playing with it til I get it, I also have to make it dairy free, corn free, and low carb due to my other issues (you can develop new food allergies, sensitivities...

The type of bleeding can help narrow it down, dark tar like stools is upper GI like stomach and small intestines. If it is darker clotted blood it can be middle area but generally in the beginning/mid large intestines, if it is bright red then end of hte large intestines. I have Ulcerative Colitis on top of celiac...they both flare to gluten but UC can flare... -

Bit of a odd one but a keto take on Migas has been my go to breakfast for half this week. Growing up my mother used to take partial bags of fritos or chips lightly crush them throw in a warm skillet and crack in some eggs and scramble over medium-low heat and serve with salsa. I am taking 4505 pork rinds and doing the same thing but leaving out the salsa... -
With healing you can regain a lot of it. My energy is back up and good I just have to worry about eating and bathroom due to my Ulcerative Colitis and Allergies. You can probably still do lighter weights and exercise band resistance training to keep muscle tone and slower taper it back up. Traveling...this has been the hardest for me used to be just...

>.< This type of bread using the psyllium husk as a binder. you need 2-4tbsp of it for a loaf, heck I tried 6 once with a 2lb loaf and the stuff had the chewiness of ciabatta bread but much denser. But if you really want it told up I aggree partially...look at Guar Gum, but I would avoid Xantham gum, it is from the bacteria that causes black rot on...

So starting off the new year with a bit of a big investment using all my savings. Due to health issues being worse now traveling has become a joke, like removing the second row seating from my vehicle and replacing it with a portable toilet with chemical disposal tank....yeah I had to. So this topped with having to rent a hotel every time I want to stay...

Depends for a 2lb loaf I normally go with 1/4-1/2cup (60-120ml), I like coconut in sweet breads and use the Nutiva Butter Flavored coconut oil often. A savory herb bread might do better with olive oil, while a garlic herb bread would do good with a combination of the 2

It is extremely hard to run a Dedicated Gluten Free business in the food industry. If you do decide to do it you need to have your focus elsewhere to get customers. I started doing gluten free baked goods at farmers markets and more then 3/4 of everyone scuffed at it and said "I like my gluten" etc. literally making fun of the diet and not even trying the...

Standard method is to preslice, place wax paper between slices and freeze. But I do this with breads with a Egg Whites, Almond Flour, Psyllium, and Oil base or Egg White, Coconut Flour, Psyllium, and Oil. Mine are a bit more of a eggy bread and I cover the taste by adding in herbs. I think the freezing is causing micro fractures in the starch/carb structure...

From my freak allergies, I can tell you a histamine response can cause all kinds of issues mostly fatigue, brain fog, headaches, and the urge to vomit. I mostly feel out of it. I read some can have lower GI issues like cramping and Diarrhea. More severe issues start swelling in the throat/mouth/face and in my case forming of blood blisters/sores in the mouth...

Mrs. Butterworth's Lite Syrup
Ennis-TX replied to lou37's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I also have issues with aspertame but it really seems to make me irritable and angry. I recall some saying that while it does not spike glucose it does spike insulin production. For syrups I used to use Lakanto Maple but have moved to Good Dee's Maple (Amazon), when Lakanto reformulated with a monster list of ingredients, I can not have sugar/carbs. -
Depends on your diet and your GI tract/microflora, go the liquid diet only with broths/oils 24-48hours before allows most of the hard stuff, and foods that might irritate the intestines or produce gas when being flushed through to pass. I took a generic gasX this last time that was labeled gluten free as I was previously having some. Be sure to have a book...

Um have you had a colonoscopy also hmm, My UC will cause really painful BMs mostly liquid in form when flares happen, other symptoms that set it apart for me but will vary with people was blood in stool and on the TP and mucus. I got the UC diagnosed a few years after my Celiac, it is iffy and seems to have it's own triggers. But it normally shows up on...

My iron stayed low for years even eating foods high in iron, >.< I did have a constant drain with UC but it still only improved when I started taking Vitamin C with meals

Cleaning cycle on the oven, 500F+ can destroy the gluten proteins, scrub with dawn repeat if you wish then rinse and re-season. I would not use oven cleaner on cast iron, the pours surface could retain the chemicals, and I am unsure how they burn off. If you really gotta clean cast iron I might say a sandblaster/beadblaster, then wash and oven method for...

I had the constipation issues and found it was linked to Magnesium Deficiency (one of the common ones in Celiac among, Iron, B-vitamins, Vitamin D, etc) I started having to dose to tolerance with Magnesium Citrate btw best to use a good kitchen scale (start at 2 grams up the dose daily 2 grams until you get loose stools then back down 2 grams) as you heal...

Elimination diet and a food diary are our best tools. Have you read the newbie 101 thread? Do you live in a shared house or is the whole house gluten free? Have you tossed out your scratched pots, cutting board, colander, wooden spoons, condiements, or anything else that might be contaminated? Or are you anywhere where flour is being used? And are you avoiding...

" Duodenal mucosa showing partial villous atrophy with blunting, " Looks like you have it, Celiac Disease destroys the Villi and the only known cure is a 100% gluten free diet for life. Feel free to check out the newbie101 thread to get a idea, if the doctors are finished testing and told you to go ahead and start gluten free then do so. If you have...
