About Me
I've suffered through chronic fatigue for the last 18 months for the second time in two decades (I am nothing, if not consistent ). This bout is following an impacted-wisdom-tooth-turned-bone-infection that had be on antibiotics for months. I've tried exercise (suggested by rehab officer), neurofeedback and biofeedback (suggested by chiropractor), mindfulness (suggested by psychologist) and waiting it out (suggested by doctor, thanks doc!) with minimal improvement.
Then I decided to cut out wheat and felt 20% better within a fortnight. So now I'm exploring the leaky gut path and seeing if it can deliver further improvements. Any suggestions or comments from others would be greatly appreciated.
Why I think a leaky gut diagnosis fits for me:
- at least three courses of antibiotics taken back to back in 2013
- history of stress and depression
- history of ibuprofen abuse (leading to a Type 1 allergy - yay anaphylaxis!)
- history of fatigue and iritable bowel syndrome issues
