  1. I believe it's one slice of bread per day for 12 weeks. You should get the full celiac panel done because a high on any one test should lead to an endoscopy/biopsies being done by a gastroenterologist to verify a celiac diagnosis. The full celiac panel includes TTG IGA and IGG, DGP IGA and IGG, EMA, IGA.
  2. While I do see the button on my cellphone I still do not see the button on my tablet pc (it's a laptop in vertical ). I also do not see the posters names/pics. Screen resolution is 1440 x 2160 if that helps.
  3. If I were you I would get back on gluten and get the full celiac blood test done. It includes TTG IGA and IGG, DGP IGA and IGG, EMA, and IGA. You need to be consuming gluten for a negative to be valid. It only takes one positive result to get a gastroenterologist to do the endoscopy/biopsies. You have to be on gluten for all of it. A delay from gluten...
  4. Sorry, I don't have chrome. I have the same issue with Internet Explorer.
  5. Erased cookies and loggedin. Same issues.
  6. You're looking for a high on any one blood test. which would lead to an endoscopy/biopsies being done by a gastroenterologist. Must be eating gluten until all testing is done. 12 weeks of eating gluten before blood tests.
  7. In America you can order your own blood tests at online places like directlabs.com or walkinlab.com. They do the same tests the doctors order. They are not covered by insurance. You can give the results to a gastroenterologist if there is a positive. I'm only suggesting this because your doctor "wouldn't allow" it. The full celiac panel includes...
  8. Did she get the full celiac blood test? It includes TTG IGA TTG IGG DGP IGA DGP IGG EMA IGA You only need a positive on any one test to need the endoscopy, which she has had. Anyway if she hasn't gotten all of the above blood tests then perhaps she can get them now. If one of the numbers is high you can use that as...
  9. Wow! If your ranges are 20 or lower like cycling lady said you have to have celiac (not a doc). Those numbers are high! Stay on gluten until the endoscopy is done. Congratulations on now knowing that all you have to do is be extremely strict on the gluten free diet. It could take a while for your symptoms to go away.
  10. Cheese and dairy are only to be avoided if they are problematic. My numbers go down when I have cheese and ice dream.
  11. There's more than gluten that you added to your diet when you went off of low carb. Your issue could be something other than gluten.
  12. Sounds like he's doing great! Why not have the doctor test the levels now so you can see how he's doing?
  13. One way to verify to yourself that you do indeed have celiac and gluten free works is to get the celiac blood tests now, go gluten free, then get those same tests 3 months from now, then 6 months from now. If your numbers decrease then you know you're doing the right thing as far as the celiac goes. I had to just have mashed potato soup and ice cream...
  14. Your TTG IGA is less than 2. That test says no celiac. Your IGA is 148 and is normal. So the first test is a good test. There are other tests for celiac. A positive on any one of them would mean you should get an endoscopy/biopsy to verify celiac. Those tests are: TTG IGG DGP IGA DGP IGG EMA CYA: I'm not a doc
  15. I do not see a "New Topic" button anymore. I no longer see who writes a post. No pic, no name, nothing. I just see the posts. Microsoft Surface Pro 3, tablet pc in vertical orientation. Firefox browser. I do see ads.
  16. If you think you're having trouble digesting then stick to eggs, potatoes, soups and stews. And veggies.
  17. I don't take much in the way of medicine so I can't help you there. But if you were to write what you eat/drink in a typical day maybe some of us could suggest changes that would help.
  18. If I did not have symptoms I'd keep eating gluten and redo the tests in three months. If I did have symptoms I'd go extremely strict gluten free for two months, retest, then eat gluten for two months, retest. That way I could see what happens to the symptoms and the numbers. Strict gluten free means no cheating or "oops" moments for 8 solid weeks in a row...
  19. I'm not a doc. I can see why you think you don't have celiac from that. If I couldn't afford the biopsy and had those numbers I'd probably retest the high one in a few months and see if it goes up or down. If I had gastro symptoms I'd try strict gluten free and see if the symptoms went away in a couple of months then reintroduce gluten and see if they came...
  20. If you haven't tried Canyon Bakehouse, do so. You'll be happily surprised. I love their plain bagels, mountain white bread, multigrain, and rye (fake) bread. I don't like Udi's at all. You can order from their website.
  21. She has a high for two tests, DGP IGA and DGP IGG. There are people on this forum with high DGP and normal TTG who have celiac. The biopsy results should confirm it for you. Did the pathology report from the biopsies come back yet? Maybe it did and I misunderstood? ?
  22. The test you should monitor is the one that is most sensitive for you. It's different for everyone. In my case the most sensitive/quick reacting test is TTG IGG. But people say you should use the DGP test.
  23. I'd start with eggs and potatoes for breakfast, and homemade soup or stew for lunch and dinner. With water as your only drink. You can cook the soup and stew once per week. If you can go a month like that then ask yourself if your symptoms have calmed down at all. If they have then you can stick it out as long as you can or keep a food log and add on a new...
