I would advise this lovely young 23 yr old to get referred asap, as it took so long for me to get diagnosed it is wise to start the jouney early. As there is no cure, but there are tablets that help soothe it but nothing that stops it. As I said it could be Achalasia. I would ask your doctor to refer you to a gastroenterologist at the hospital. Are your coughs very violent, especially when you are eating?
