  1. You can read their syrup bottles right in the store, I have. I've also had the syrups with no problem. The vanilla latte is just espresso, syrup and steamed milk. It's fine.
  2. My casein intolerance also became more apparent at 4 months off gluten.
  3. This is exactly how I felt for four months. It ended up being the half & half. I was having a different reaction to the coffee/cream than the other sources of milk. Sometimes I didn't react to the other milk products at all, sometimes I thought I had gotten glutened. But somehow the coffee/cream always had its own reaction. I, too, thought it was...
  4. Yep, I can relate. Ended up not being the coffee, but the cream. I am casein intolerant.
  5. I eat lots of eggs, cottage cheese, kifir, canned red salmon (it's Alaskan and not farmed), cheese, etc. I don't always have a "meat dish" for dinner. Last time I cooked for the family it was rice penne, cream sauce (butter, half and half, thickened with cornstarch), Johnsonville italian sausage, asparagus, summer squash, and mushrooms. Another dinner...
  6. Can't answer that ... still give me gas and a belly ache. I still eat them though ... I don't actually "see" them , maybe you should chew better!!!! Even well-chewed or refried, they give me gas, but I think that's normal!
  7. I would bet it's the beans and dairy. You would have to isolate it more to test it. Also, there are simply a lot of ingredients in that bowl! Sometimes I get sensitive, but not glutened, just from eating too many different items in one sitting.
  8. I don't have the delphi list either ... I have been known to call one of my teenagers when I'm at the grocery store and have them go to a manufacturer's website to see if a product is gluten free. Will one of you please send it to me? Thank you!
  9. I noticed when I bought one of the Amy's bowls that it was labeled differently from their stuff that's labeled gluten-free. I had no problems with it. I don't remember if it was the enchilada bowl or not. I've never gotten glutened from Amy's. Molly, tell us about the feet.
  10. One post mentioned a previous post about mold, but I couldn't find it. I wanted to mention, though that peanuts are high in mold content. I'm slightly allergic to mold and have to watch both how much peanut butter I eat and fruit juice. They don't use all the pretty fruit for juice. I only have night sweats related to glutenings.
  11. I totally agree with the whole foods idea, vitamins are just your backup in case you're not getting enough. Also, eat them with some food, they're absorbed better.
  12. Not to mention that many of the less expensive vitamins have 100% of the RDA, which is the minimum we should have of the vitamin, not the optimum. That's why you will see such a high % on the health food vitamins.
  13. There are several of us in our family who have severe problems with antibacterial soap. I have to send my kids to school with their own handsoap because their hands will crack and bleed with antibacterial soap, even if they use lotion all the time. Lack of fat in the diet also sounds possible. Be sure it's "good fat" like olive oil or a supplement...
