  1. Please keep us posted. I would be so happy to buy and use this bread along with the B Free dark bread I've gotten used to. Different taste and texture to suit different cuisines.
  2. When I'm hosting, I do the prep. If someone wants to bring something they know the rules. Its store bought and labeled gluten-free. No exceptions. No one has ever had hurt feelings or not attended. There is so much out there now labeled gluten-free guests have no problem finding what they like and bring it.
  3. I take the B50 complex as a separate capsule. The B12 is sublingual for better absorption, the other is a capsule.
  4. Puritan Pride: order online. I take their gluten-free sublingual B12. It comes in several strengths. I take the 5000 once per week.
  5. Teff is very hard to find. I used to get it in a couple of places, but they don't carry it anymore. Probably because it's bitter and people haven't figured out that by adding cinnamon, raisins and other herbs and spices. It can really be quite good.
  6. You may or may not be lucky. I had to give up coffee 12 years ago. I still crave it. I used to find a coffee that was marked gluten-free, but it vanished. plain coffee isn't always gluten-free, the beans get contaminated if they were processed with equipment in a facility that also handles products with gluten. You can buy plain, organic coffee beans...
  7. I only confirmed that McCormick organic with the green screw on top in a glass bottle to be gluten-free. You can do a search online for gluten-free spices, seasonings, condiments, etc. search 1 at a time. For everything gluten-free, I call the manufacturer and ask.
  8. McCormick organic also Kroger brand "Private Selection" which is their gluten-free brand. Because I've read about it but didn't see a gluten-free tag under them, I called and went over every Private Selection condiment, spice etc I have and they were all gluten-free. We did one at a time. Sorry, I have about 40 different spices including turmeric...
  9. I once regularly had violent, 3 day migraines. They started out as 1/2 day events at age 3. After latent celiac diagnosis the migraines became very rare, but that might be because of age. Migraines often dissipate when one is old. Hard to know.
  10. No! I'm not eating cockroaches no matter how they are packaged. Crickets seem less repulsive and I might be able to handle that. I tried green banana flour which was been on the market, but I didn't like it at all.
  11. There are a few of us Celiacs who receive at our parish with no problems. The Host contains wheat at a level of 5 ppm. We have a dedicated Eucharistic minister trained to cleanse her hands after receiving her Host and then cleanses her hands to present ours. There has been discussion that we will be offered wine in the near future, but again, there will...
  12. I guess I'm fortunate since I eat all of the above except any form of glutamine which gives me RLS. Re the non-glutamine spices, I use them liberally according to the dish I'm preparing. Of course, I use gluten-free brands. I am curious though and look forward to the end result of the study.
  13. I started getting mild panic attacks at night. Nothing helped. My doctor sent me to a cardiologist who discovered I had MVP - Mitral valve prolapse. A symptom is panic attacks. My MVP is very minor, I rarely have a panic attack and I also use some lavender oil at night to calm the brain.
