  1. Speaking of which, here's a very long article dealing with roundup and celiac. http://sustainablepulse.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Glyphosate_II_Samsel-Seneff.pdf
  2. I thought I was the only one who replied to a papa johns posting? And you replied back. Did I miss something exciting? i also replied to one chick fil a posting when we got like a million of those posted in a few days too. Sometimes they just seem to post the same article from different sources way too many times. Same with the whole gluten-free host...
  3. Wish we were neighbors then me and my husband could help you with your business. But NC and Texas are too far away! ok now I get it about chewing and spitting. Good idea. All your food always sounds soooo good
  4. Interesting. I might do it soon as an elimination type diet thing. Actually after I get my first paycheck from the new teaching job as I don't have an extra penny before then. Sadly they pay once a month so it won't be until end of September
  5. Does this really work? Or were you joking? It's got me all excited.....
  6. Thanks Ennis. I read this site on my iPad and don't think ad block is available for safari. It would be much more pleasant without the ads I'm sure. I accidentally hit them sometimes and look at them for a moment and realize most are, well I'm not going to say as they support this site that is important to me and lots of others. Thanks for the tips...
  7. So has anyone watched the video associated with this ad we see on the forums every single day? What in fact are the 3 food to avoid to relieve your belly bloat? Anyone know?
  8. Thanks Ennis and posterboy. I will up the magnesium and try to bulk up with more fiber. Wish there was a way to bookmark these posts so I can come back later easily.
  9. Nacho cheese Doritos are my one processed food I allow myself as a treat. I check the label each time I get them though, always amazed I can eat them. But I couldn't have any dairy for nearly a year after going gluten-free. Made me sick. But thankfully afterwards it was ok. This is similar to many people on the board. i do not know anything about the...
  10. I used to get the splotchy look on my hands and thighs all the time. Haven't had it happen in years. Maybe going gluten-free made it stop, but I have no idea. Never saw a doc about it. Never was worried about it either. Just thought it was yet another weird thing that happens with super fair skin.
  11. I seem to have a dream world where everything is the same and I just go back to it nite after nite. Usually pretty comforting unless it's one of those darn nightmares! I guess my body got used to the dose as I don't have the nightmares anymore and I'm back to the big c. It's even a bit worse now. Not sure what to do.
  12. Make your own! INGREDIENTS ¾ cup onion flakes ⅓ cup powdered beef bullion 4 tsp onion powder ½ tsp ground celery seed 1 tsp granulated garlic (opt) 1 tsp salt (opt) ½ tsp pepper (opt) ¼ tsp sugar (opt) ¼ tsp paprika (opt)
  13. Have you ever had a sleep study? Like CL says, you might have more than one thing going on. You sound like me before I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. I couldn't keep my eyes open, despite getting enough sleep. They usually arrange it so it only costs the price of a copay to a specialist. If it is sleep apnea, using a Cpap is easy and it will fix you right...
  14. I'm super confused....? Is this really an issue? http://www.dartmouth.edu/~arsenicandyou/health/gluten-free.html "We estimate that with the higher concentrations of inorganic arsenic in white and brown rice and rice-based ingredients, people who eat a lot of rice - such as in many gluten-free diets - have an increased risk of inorganic arsenic exposure...
  15. Short answer is YES keep eating gluten until the testing is over. If you go without and reintroduce, your body will react much worse to the gluten. If you have any symptoms now, they will be multiplied. New ones might pop up! This is just what happens to many, many of of here. You don't have to eat much, a sandwich a day will be fine, if you wish to cut back...
  16. Find a new dermatologist! One who will test you. Properly! They don't take part of the lesion, they do it next to it, on clear skin. Wth is wrong with him that he won't do a simple test?
  17. You might be an extremely sensitive celiac who needs a more specific diet detailed here
  18. You guys are back at school already for teacher workdays? Wow. Mine start on the 17th. What day does your school start? I do very simple lunches. Leftovers from dinner. Sandwiches but easier said than done as I hate gluten-free bread. Trail mix I make. I have apples and other fruit for snacks. last year I had string cheese for after school snacks that...
  19. Here's even more Nima info from last week. https://www.glutenfreewatchdog.org/news/nima-update-limit-of-detection/
  20. Remember it was Aristotle cat who was also coffee lobby. Very strange thread.
  21. Never had a problem with it personally.
