  1. We cook everything in the same oven. Never an issue for me for 10 years. It's not like a microwave where stuff explodes onto the ceiling and could fall onto the food.
  2. Burts bees is not good to me, and neither is carmex. Probably a weird allergy of mine. I've been using my hand lotion that is gluten free over my lips while I'm dragging my feet to find something new.
  3. If you have been diagnosed with DH, it means you have celiac. Just an FYI.
  4. Looks great. Maybe some day I can afford to eat something like this!
  5. Totally agree. Got a salad there years ago and got super sick.
  6. Article brought to you by Lucky Spring Rolls, lol.
  7. You got me. Without googling I didn't know there was iodine in sweat. I figured it would be like salt in a cut for me, ouch! Or how sweat when it dries just makes you itchier. I have to wear a back brace and when it's hot out I get a rash that itches underneath, even with a tee in between. But nothing as itchy as dh.
  8. Oh wow, I can't even imagine dh in a sweaty place! I used to scratch mine till bloody sometimes. I super hope you get diagnosed quickly and are on your way to healing very soon.
  9. The article says it's paid advertising at the bottom. Not sure why it's in the Publicity and Publications forum if it's advertising.
  10. I do use it! I just used it last night as I thought I was having a reaction to carmex. Didn't seem to help though. I also used it occasionally for helping with sleep. It did not help me with dh though.
  11. What is wrong with one Benadryl per day?
  12. I forgot to mention that it is a reaction I get to certain lipsticks as well. I agree with you about the allergy. How in the world to figure out which ingredient though, lol?
  13. I've been using this Carmex lip balm all week and last. Today I used and and immediately my throat felt like it was closing up and it's been super scratchy for hours now. Ideas? Gluten?
  14. Could your probiotics or vitamins have gluten in them?
  15. Subscribe to your post for notifications. Looks like 6 people have done so!
  16. It doesn't come in purple so I can't wear it, lol. God these little kids and all their germs I really should be wearing that suit.
  17. Exactly the same reason I wish I could wear a hazmat suit when I have breakfast duty at the elementary school! Pancakes, waffles, cereal, muffins, corn dogs, all spread everywhere with messy dirty little hands, ugh. I wash my arms up to the elbows after that.
  18. Not everything is celiac.... Have you had a sleep study to check for sleep apnea? I have severe apnea, and wear a cpap mask every night. I also get 8-9 hours of sleep every night and more on weekends. I'd be dragging if I didn't. I used to nearly fall asleep at red lights. If you can start getting better sleep, it will seriously help the depression.
  19. Omg I used to love that stuff. What's the dip it goes into?? I may have had it in the last 10 years but not sure. Hopefully someone here will have had it!
  20. I had no clue. Derm tested it and said it was dh.... and didn't tell me a thing about celiac. jMG was the first person to tell me that it was a celiac diagnosis!
  21. Why did you have a second blood test in the first place? Why wasn't your first test good enough? I'm super confused.
  22. No celiac in my family but lots of other autoimmune diseases! And the photos you just posted also look extremely similar to my elbows 10 years ago. I feel the itch just looking at them. other symptoms for me were abdominal pain and constipation.
  23. Well let's just say this does not bode well for your relationship. If I couldn't talk to my husband about celiac and have him be respectful and do as much as he could for me, well I don't know what I would do. It's a difficult disease to live with sometimes, and you need support, not a one-up contest. Try to have a heart to heart with him, and explain you...
