  1. Hi everyone,

Thought you all might like to know that Continental Airlines offers a gluten-free/lactose free meal on international flights.

I was quite surprised because I had called to order a gluten-free meal - most airlines offer either gluten-free OR dairy-free, not both, so it was quite nice to discover that the meal was both gluten-free and lactose free.

The meal was not bad either - for lunch it was fish with rice, some sort of carrot salad, a couple of packs of rice crackers, and some sort of baked apple for dessert, plus a soy pudding. The snack just before landing was eggs (though I wonder if they weren't more like Egg Beaters or something, as they had a strange texture) with mushrooms and tomatoes. The sticker on the meals was marked "gluten-free-NLML" which I am assuming means "Gluten-Free - No Lactose Meal".

This was on a flight from Paris CDG to New York-Newark.

My best friend is a flight attendant for the and they have gluten-free meals on all flights, you just have to ask for it when you book yor ticket! :)

  2. Oh I forgot...

My bf and I use these little enema looking things that are spremeside and you place them up your va-jay-jay (hey, oprah uses the term!) and they disolve while your "doing you cardio" and work VERY well. We have been using them for about 4 years now. It's easy, cheap and sometimes hard to find.....near the condoms and KY and they are in a silver-ish looking box with pink and blue writing. I threw away the box....sorry.

Oh and don't get the injection stuff, get the enema kind, less mess and it really gets "up into you"...

wow, that was a lot of TMI....I'm trying to be no all THAT graphic but it's a little hard! :)

  3. Once my insurance kicks in I will be getting this:

    Open Original Shared Link

It's called an IUD and it's wonderful, I have talked to a few people that have it and they love it! PLUS there are no hormones involved!!! No pills to take everyday!!!! My infertility doctor (I'm trying to NOT have children, don't want them...in fact lol, i went to him to see if they have a donor program and I could give my "woman-ness" to someone who wanted kids and couldn't have them...turns out they don't do that! :( ) said it's totally safe and he has had REALLY good results with it.

The pill is crap. It made me one psycho WITCH! My bf would always say, "oh no mel........it's psycho time, call me in a week." and we would just leave each other alone cause I got CRAZY. I didn't take any offense to it, I knew it wasn't "me". B)

    Best of luck!

  4. Thanks for the compliment on the site, I try really hard. It's funny 'cause I've been this close to both the Whaley House and the Queen Mary and I've never been inside either!!! LOL

I'd love to make it back to the East coast to investigate. I have family in Maryland and have been to a lot of the haunted locations in the Maryland/Pennsylvania area but I've never investigated. I'm sure New York has a ton of places! I actually know of a guy who was in a group in New York, I'll see if I can find the name for you. I think it is Open Original Shared Link.

That was a Central NY site, I'm in the city. I would love to know the name of the site if it's not the one you already shared!

The Queen Mary was really cool but I do say stay the night, it's really cool and fun. I worked on cruise ships for 3 years and let me tell you we had a nice cabin on the QM but it was A SHOE BOX compared to my crew cabins on ships! I didn't see anything at night on the QM, during broad daylight I did see things.

There is a TON of stuff to find in MD and PA!!! We drove through Gettisburgh and some other huge civil war town. I didn't like what I felt and I just told my mom, I don't like this, can we leave? We didn't stay long and I was glad. It felt like a ghost town and just "not right" you know?

I did find a paranormal group through meetup.com and I'm going to one of their meeting is mid Feb...I just hope it's not all those wanna be psychic freaks and it's people who are ACTUALLY INTERESTED in FINDING information! You know the type I'm talking about? They are like vampires and they suck the energy out of you cause they are just trying too hard!

There is a small pock hospital on a little island between queens and manhattan called Randals Island. It's closed and gated off but you are able to get through and to it. My friends have been during the day and said it's REALLY cool just to see it. It's mostly ruins now but I am going to make a trip out there once the weather get better...so like...June?! lol

  5. The writers are waiting for all the shows to run out of new episodes and the public will get mad and they hope that will put more presure on the Producers League.....the Producers are sort of waiting for the same thing...I think it's gunna be a few more months.

I miss Greys and Private Practice bad too!!!!! The reruns and reality shows are wearing me out too!!!!

  6. Yeah we do it's Open Original Shared Link We don't have much of our evidence up right now. We had some member issues and decided to make a fresh start in 2008. The most interesting thing we have found so far was probably at Fort Bridger, WY. We didn't catch it on video though. We were in the officers quarters and we all heard footsteps upstairs, however there was no one up there.

You guys have a GREAT website! Let me know if you ever come to the NYC area! :)

I spent a night on the Queen Mary about 9 years ago. I can't TELL YOU how many ghosts we ran into!! I thought "oh there can't be THIS many on here"...WRONG! I found 2 kids, on was turning a door knob and the other was around the pool area. Those were the only ones I could really get a good grip on. I ran into others but was freaked out cause it was night! I'm still scared of the dark!

There is a ghost in my dance studio and he loves to play with the studio dog in the theatre area of the building.

I have also been to the Whalie (i butchered that spelling) House in San Diego and found a dog there. Also smelt a womans scent and cigars.

I should look to see is there is an NYC group....

  7. um.....this magazine is crap...they have an article saying "blow jobs give you cancer of the mouth"......REALLY?! good lord!

The fad dieters I feel ruin it for us because they have no clue what gluten is ie: i was talking to a girl and she said on i'm wheat free and i ALWAYS ask oh so what is a typical meal for you and she answered "anything with soy sauce" and i said "um....that has wheat" and she said no it doesn't and i said yes, it's the 2nd ingredient! and she got mad at me....she came back and said "you are right!"

DUH I'M RIGHT IT MAKES ME SICK!

  8. Hey guys, I'm an actor in NYC and this strike is effecting everyone. One of the big issues is the web. They are posting tv shows on the web and they aren't really monitored so they don't get their residual. That totally sucks for them! Basically there is NO pilot season so there won't be very many new shows in the Fall. That's going to suck too. As for us actors in NYC it's getting crazy! All the LA talent is relocating to NYC for theater and the auditions are packed and horrendous, that makes less job opportunities for us live theater actors. I do feel that in the long run this will be for the better of the writer. It's going to be a LONG while before this clears up.

Not to mention the stage hand local one IATSE strike we had in late November hurt/helped the industry. Also, FYI Actors Equity, the stage acting unions Production Contract (that's 98% of the Broadway shows contract) ends this summer. I'm on the sub negotiating committee and it's already getting ugly for us too. The writers strike is hitting hard for agents too, they don't get their commission on tv shows (and it's a LOT) and then Broadway strikes....and I wouldn't be surprised if it strikes again...so watch out! Things I think, are going to get uglier!

  9. I have seen both those shows! Have yall seen A Haunting? I think it's A&E as well....SCARY!!!

Yes, I do find it odd that all of them are demonds but I love that they show how easy it is to get ride of them and ESPECIALLY how addictive EVP is. I do think all of these shows are great learning tools to some extent.

I also love watching Psychic Investigation. I really want to get into more crime work but it's not easy in NYC to get into it. Morrisun, do you guys have a web site? What's the most exciting thing you have found?
