I have NCGI too . One year after my autoimmune hypothyroidsm diagnosis , I started to have digestion problems. I lost too much weight and i was having diarrhea every week. People around me thought that I had eating disorder. Eating pasta or a slice of bread was scaring me because it was making me bloated , and the funny thing is i didn't even know what...

No luckily i didn't I had nausea probably caused by eating more than I used to eat the day before. And the company sent me another email saying that it contains CORN GLUTEN ,not wheat gluten.
-
Thank you By the way im a very sensitive NCGI patient and it was the only processed food i used

They answered today, they told me that it had cornstarch . I guess its a cross contamination issue ? Or the starch is labeled as corn gluten (which is not the same thing )
-
I asked for their two products yesterday, onion and garlic.Onion powder's package doesnt have starch or wheat on ingredient list but garlic powder has corn starch . I dont have any intolerance to corn by the way. They told me they add starch to two of their products so they are not gluten free. I dont understand why they would put on corn starch on list...

For example , i bought gluten free candies which are sold in a jar .The lid has a sticker on one side and when i try to get the candy it probably touches the sticker . Do i really need to worry? Other than that...

Toothbrush made from wheat straw
lilo replied to lilo's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
thanks everyone . By the way does anyone use humble brush ? -
Just learned that some of the toothbrushes are made from wheat straw... They usually have a different color but i cant be sure Are the ones sold by brands like colgate only made from plastic derivatives? I know it may sound stupid but i get paranoid... (And the toothbrush brand i've been using since i started gluten-free diet is not sold everywhere )
