I noticed this post is from more than 5 years ago but I would like to give some insight I haven't seen listed above. I have this exact same blotchy splotches on my hand as you do. I only started to put a big puzzle piece together a few years ago. Nerves have a big effect on skin / muscles. Do your hands/feet get cold easily? Do you have / get spasm often...
