  1. What about any of these high fibre cereal options guys? Open Original Shared Link
  2. So eating other acceptable foods with high fibre should work in replacing the fibre in the gluten, is this correct please?
  3. So wait guys, is there a specific ingredient in Gluten products which keeps us regular?
  4. I am going to try the apples and whole prunes and will report back here in this thread a few weeks or when I see things change or not, thanks guys and Happy New year! p.s. Anyone can still post whatever meantime.
  5. I wasn't having a single issue with that cereal having used it for years, only reason I switched to the cheerios is because it's label shows as gluten-free. I would be glad to go back to the flax if I can confirm it's gluten free?
  6. A lot to consider here, thanks. I have a salad once per day [Romaine lettuce, grated carrots, cucumber and water cress, no dressing]. I will add an apple or some grapes back to my diet. Regarding my cereal for breakfast , I used to have Flax cereal from Costco but I don't know if that's gluten free? Open Original Shared Link
  7. Everything I consume is gluten-free and non dairy. I use gluten-free flour mixed with almond flour to make flatbread. Unsweetened Almond milk with Cheerios Honey Nut Gluten Free Oats for breakfast. I have given up regular bread. I have stopped fruits too trying to cut down on sugar, wondering if I should add back a little fruit?
  8. Hey guys, since I started on a gluten free diet 2 months ago, I am not regular as I used to be prior to that, is this normal? If yes, anything can be done to correct this please?
  9. Oh hey, Just wanted to say thanks a million for the tip on adding Almond flour, the flatbread this time around turnout great! First time we tried it came out a little too grainy so this time we added only a little to the Red Mills gluten free flour and it came out just right, appreciate it.
  10. Oh sorry, my apologies, I can see why I confused you by my last link, I am still simply looking at gluten free options, for now, as my current priority is gluten and dairy free diet for the Psoriasis situation. Will test that diet for a few months and then see about substituting for sugar free diet. Appreciate all of the help though!
  11. Far as store bought bread goes, this looks like something for me maybe: Open Original Shared Link
  12. The Julian bakery bread made me shudder just looking at it The know better cereal with the blueberries looks like something I might be able to work with, appreciate both links! So will try the almond or coconut flour and gluten free red mills flour mix to make flatbread, would baking bread with that same mix work just by adding yeast?
  13. I think I see the situation now, you are a baker, is this right? If yes, you're lucky. For me, it's finding something store bought to replace replace cereal, bread for sandwiches and flatbread.
  14. I guess the question I should ask is, is there such a thing as gluten free sugar free bread? Or cereal?
  15. So stra Thank you for taking the time to write all of that very valuable info. Strange you should mention Diabetes as I had joined a diabetic forum only a few days ago asking about a diet for that too. My dad is not diabetic but my mom is and at age 74 last year she was put on insulin and seeing that I decided to look into coming up with a diet plan...
  16. So I would need to buy both the same expensive flour plus the almond flour and use both as per your instructions, is this right? If yes, if I were to bake bread from the same mixture would it eat good?
  17. What if I were to try the Almond flour with just a little salt and baking powder, would the gooey-ness still be there?
  18. Thanks! I have been thinking of simply trying Almond flour so I might as well give it a try instead of the Red Mills.
  19. Yes, I am aware of the Gundry diet but thanks anyway.
  20. Thank you, will look into this flour
  21. Hey guys, I bought the expensive flour at Target for $9. When finished making flatbread with it using only a little salt and baking powder, it tastes good but only problem I am finding is it it soft and heavy. Anything I can add to stiffen it a little please?
  22. Yes I overlooked checking the ingredients since it was a vegan product "modified corn and potato starch, potato starch"
  23. The Daiya cheese also has good reviews, if the Chao should not turn out to be as the reviews state, for me, then I will try the Daiya. Yes I too have to keep away from corn products
  24. Does that exist for ice cream and cookies?
  25. I browsed through some of the links, I am going to try the Chao cheese as first option since their reviews is the best I am coming across: https://www.amazon.com/Chao-Cheese-Creamy-Original-Slices/dp/B00WN5F9RE Will also try Veganaise for gluten-free macaroni salad.
