We are on a tour with Road Scholar so will be limited as to how much grocery shopping we can do. They know I have to be gluten-free and from what I've read most European countries are much more aware and trained in gluten-free.
I'm traveling to the UK in a month. For the most part I've given up on finding a restaurant in any airport that I can safely eat at. Therefore, I pack my own food and snacks. It's not great due to the restrictions of getting "ice packs" thru TSA but at least I can eat something safely.
Another pet peeve of mine is that most airlines don't offer gluten...

My most recent problem is my husband has recently been diagnosed with various food allergies. Some more severe than others. One food that seems to cause the most reaction is potatoes.

After reading some of the older replies I am questioning if I accidently ate gluten in some Eckrich Smoked sausage a couple of days ago and the gut reaction just hit me.
