Confusing blood tests results
Wheatwacked replied to Olfy75's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Colonoscopy goes in the bottom. Endoscopy goes in through the top. 😇 Here is a list of essential vitamins and minerals that could be deficient due to malabsorption. The mininum RDA is set at a level that keeps most healthy people healthy. Sick people need more than the minimum to recover. VANADIUM1.8 mgND -
All of my joint and muscle pain went away Gluten Free. Also, no more protein buldup on my contacts. It is like the gluten turns into little grains that imbed themselves as irritants in various tissues. The DV for potassium in the US is 4700 mg a day, something that on the western diet is very hard to achieve because we fill up on carbs. In addition to the...

Unfortunately for some people it takes 10 or more years to finally find out the symptoms were Celiac Disease all along. The diagnostic protocol for NCGS is to first eliminate Celiac and show improvement on Gluten free diet. Either way treatment is the same. Gluten free food and fix the nutrient deficiencies. Gluten is very addictive and you can at first have...

Confusing blood tests results

In my opinion that is sufficient evidence you have a problem with eating gluten, regardless of any medical opinion. The easiest way to tell is by adopting a gluten free diet and having improvement. Unless you need other validation, which for official diagnosis would be Marsh III damage to your small intestine. Celiac Disease can cause undiagnosed malnutrition... -

Canyon Bakehouse Mountain White Heritage Style is the closest to tradition size, mouthfeel and taste. I keep it frozen and nuke the slices for a minute then let it cool. -
There is a real difference between street meth and pharmaceutical amphetamines. Caffeine helps. I was started on coffee when I was 11 years old back in 1962. Clonidine works quite well for me now at 72. I was started on it recently for blood pressure control because I do no tolerate the usual diuretics (major dehydration and neuralogic problems). Clonidine...

A skin biopsy is the first step in diagnosing DH. Direct immunofluorescence of clinically normal skin adjacent to a lesion shows granular IgA deposits in the upper dermis. Histology of lesional skin may show microabscesses containing neutrophils and eosinophils. However, histology may reveal only excoriation due to the intense itching that patients experience...

Eat lots of carrots. Can Celiac Disease Lead to Vision Loss? The Connection Between Celiac and Eye Health Dry eye (technically called Dry Eye Syndrome) is a condition in which the lacrimal glands can’t produce adequate tears or the eyes are not able to maintain a normal tear layer to cover the surface. Dry eye is usually accompanied by dryness of the e...

Celiac Disease causes malnutrion. That malnutrition causes other issues. There are other autoimmune effects on multiple systems that are largely ignored because they don't fit the required diagnostic criteria. A build up of belly fat takes up space in your abdomin making you uncomfortable and feeling like you are full. This cause me to lose 30 pounds...

The first problem is that the Celiac Disease diagnosis is based only on villi damage of Marsh III presuming that Celiac Disease is only a gastrointestinal issue. That is changing but for the most part is still common opinion. -

Diagnosis issues
Wheatwacked replied to AmandaLynn's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Good Choice! Fill the coffers of Agribussiness and Big Pharma or be healthy. Many of the symptoms associated with Celiac Disease are caused by malnutrition caused by malabsorbtion caused by the autoimmune effect of gluten on the small intestine villi. Autoimmune Diseases are out of control because as a population we don't ever fill our vitamin D... -

As you read through the posts and articles here on Celiac.com you will see many variations of this. There is an overwhelming cultural and financial investment that gluten is a god given necessity. Catholics with Celiac Disease have to choose between salvation and gluten. If you avoid gluten you won't have Celiac Disease; similar to how if you don't ingest... -

Personally I believe that it is dependant on your individual vitamin D intake. Vitamin D is the Command and Control Central of the Immune System. We evolved to survive a vitamin D range of 19 - 100. Before factories and offices we all spent most of the day in the sun. A group of lifeguards in August in Israel all ranged between 70 and 90. That is our homeostatic... -

They also say if you swallow a watermelon pit it will grow in your stomach. Consider yourself lucky you aren't sensitized. I suggest you follow GFD for a couple of months and reevaluate. Just do your best but take it one day at a time. My son was diagnosed in 1976 as soon as he was weaned. There was only one pediactric gastro who was familiar with... -

Some people go years, even with obvious symptoms, yet the diagnostic test show no evidence of celiac disease, have numerous procedures, like gall bladder surgergy, etc that work temporarily only to find 10 or more years later it was celiac disease all along -

i read that pea protein is MSG. Most patients with histamine-related issues do not tolerate legumes well. Pea protein is likely high in histamine or other amines. It may also serve as a histamine liberator - in other words, it could release the body's existing histamine. https://foodisgood.com/is-pea-protein-high-in-histamine/#:~:text=Most... -

Try the Ronzoni Gluten Free Thin spaghetti. They won't notice the difference. I use Against the Grain 3 cheese pizza. brush the bottom with Grapeseed oil, add my own pizza sauce olive oil and sliced mushrooms and mix it in to the cheese. I panfry it in a cast iron frypan covered, but then I only cook one quarter at a time. It would probably do as well... -

Is that why Americans spend the most on healthcare and are obese, on statins, BP meds, fertility problems, prostate and endometrial diseases, brain fog, various arthritises, osteoporosis, clogged arteries, thyroid and numerous other autoimmune diseases and are on CPAPs? 10 grams of fresh parsley has 164 mcg of vitamin K. The RDA is 120. Restaurants used to put parsley on everything, but called it garnish and I don't think anyone ate it. Who knew? Vitamin D and Homocysteine. Vitamin D moderates the autoimmune system. High homocystein can indicate deficiency in Choline for which there is no easy accurate test.
